Curious what the highest locks people have seen are? I saw a -1350 today which was my record.

Highest I have is -1500. I think Rlen has a -1595 or -1600.

The max trap the system is allowed to create, under any circumstances, is currently -480. It's hardcoded into the system. The max trap of a fully trained player is rather higher than that, in the mid -500s.

There's no fixed maximum for lock size (aside from the maximum the field can hold before overflowing). The highest triton box (outside of unusual circumstances, like a creature leveling up over and over by killing adventurers) is -1435. The max lock of a fully trained player falls in the low -1400s (absent things like enhancives, which can push it even higher).

Enhancive sets with picking and dex can push stuff up, and training up your minor elemental ranks makes your self cast lore stronger. I don't know of any charts showing how much each rank in minor elemental boosts lores at all, of course I've never gone looking. I've done 1480 best here but I could do 1550 pretty easily from looking at the math now, got a full set of +50 lockpicking ranks enhancive stuff and about +25 dex with it.
