Show - The lacquered oak crossbar grip of this dark greenish-black vultite katar is fitted with thick knuckle guards of polished bronze. Copper wires are inlaid along the crossbar and side braces, wrapping around the wood several times in elaborate coils that wind their way onto the blade itself, creating a complex matrix of interwoven lines at the heart of the metal. Tiny holes puncture the rhomboid shape, serving as the terminating point for each individual length of inlay.
