    Let's see how this goes.

Pleasantly surprised by the appointment. He is, in my opinion, a moderate conservative.

I imagine lots of folks on both sides are going to be less than happy, but to both I say that it could be a lot worse.

And interesting thing: In 2009, Kavanaugh wrote an article for the Minnesota Law Review where he argued that U.S. Presidents should be exempt from “time-consuming and distracting” lawsuits and investigations, which “would ill serve the public interest, especially in times of financial or national security crisis.”

Did this play a role? Who knows. Probably. One thing, though, he did say he wouldn't mess with Roe v Wade, so that should help him with Democrats.

Oh I think he will mess with Roe vs Wade in the sense of favoring restrictions, but not a complete repeal. He will do to abortions much like what was done with “gun control” during the Clinton era.

The way I see it all playing... I think they won't try to touch Roe v Wade until they replace RBG after she retires following the 2020 reelection.

Of course it did. Trump is the most self-serving President ever.

    We'll see.

Yeah I agree. No doubt in my mind that played a role. And I generally kinda sorta approve of some of the work done thus far (thank you tax reform that’s all I ever wanted!!) but 100% accurate to say he is the most self-serving president we have ever had.

I don't know. I haven't been around for the majority of the Presidents we've had to compare.

If you think Trump is the most self serving President ever, then you need to read more history.
