So I got my hands on a pretty cool looking whip and I'm wondering... does Ambush make up for a Whips horrible AvD and DF? It has 100% Crush which is pretty good, plus flares.

Pretty sure you can aim whips. You might have been thinking about the TWC restriction, which may or may not still be in effect.
