Hey look, bipartisan legislation to enforce hazardous materials documentation, safety inspections and additional defect indicators by rail carriers. Only two two back to back derailments for the Ohio Republicans to get on board.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Ohio senators Sherrod Brown and JD Vance are co-sponsoring bipartisan legislation called the Railway Safety Act of 2023.

The bill will take a number of key steps to improve rail safety protocols, like enhancing safety procedures for trains carrying hazardous materials and establishing requirements for wayside defect detectors.

The bill also plans to increase fines for any violations committed by rail carriers if they fail to meet safety expectations.

“This bill that we are working on will make sure they are doing this more safely will disclose when they’re bringing hazardous materials through communities, will more than triple the fines when they have safety violations and will make sure there are enough people on board to deal with these kinds of problems,” Senator Sherrod Brown (D – Ohio) said.

“I just worry that we’re not doing enough to make sure first that our first responders are able to respond to this stuff and second that we’re doing some things to make this stuff less likely,” Senator Vance (R – Ohio) said.

"Biden trips going up Air Force One steps again, second time in two weeks"

Is Biden okay? Is Biden's health failing? Is Biden fit to be in Office? Is Biden deteriorating mentally and physically? We need a press conference immediately to address his falls...

    Right?

    RIGHT???

Remember that time Trump slipped on a wet ramp after giving a speech, but caught himself?

Our mainstream media, and it's sycophants, are fucking horrible people.

"Men who loudly discuss their sexual conquests in public could face up to seven years in jail under plans to criminalise misogyny in Scotland."

"Under a new offence of “misogynistic behaviour”, it would not be necessary for an offender to directly address a woman to be found guilty, under the plans."

"Women making unwanted sexually-motivated advances towards men, or discussing their sexual conquests in public, would not face sanctions under the legislation."

None of that shit is ever going to be made law. A woman was paid to conduct a study and this is what she came up with.

That being said, people take for granted their first Amendment rights and the Freedom of Speech in the US, that shit doesn't exist in the UK.

Another major railroad conglomerate decided to join the ranks of major rail disasters and flood parts of North Dakota with hazardous materials.

Train derailment spills hazardous materials in North Dakota

Canadian Pacific says 31 cars of a 70-car train left the tracks near Wyndmere, some 60 miles southwest of Fargo, spilling liquid asphalt.

A Canadian Pacific train derailed in rural North Dakota Sunday night and spilled hazardous materials, but local authorities and the railroad said there is no threat to public safety.

There were no injuries and no fire associated with the derailment, which occurred in a rural area outside Wyndmere, a town of several hundred people about 60 miles southwest of Fargo.

Pipelines are safer than trains. Just sayin.

Oh, you know the oil the Keystone would have transported is still crossing the land to be processed right, by train. Know who owns major rail companies in the US and Canada, Bill gates and Warren Buffett. Both big time Biden and Democrat donors. But pipelines are evil and bad for the environment M'kay?

    Train derailments are extremely common.
