Hunting in Alaska is a LOT different than hunting in the lower 48. Combined with most Americans' general ignorance of hunting, the alarmist language of the article posted up above, and the park service seemingly not caring, I don't think this is a big issue. There is a public comment period opening today, so I'm more interested in seeing what local hunters opinions are vs. the opinion of people who don't live or hunt there.
