Convert/Deity Options

Have a mid 60s paladin who is thinking about converting for the first time. Would like to keep it to non evil aligned for RP reasons but other than that I am having trouble narrowing it down mechanically as I don't really know which flares are considered powerful and which ones I will find underwhelming. Any advice is appreciated.

I'd grab either crush (Kai, Kuon), acid (Lumnis), impact (Niima), or disruption (Eonak, Tilamaire).

That's not in order of preference or anything, but in my experience those type of crits generally don't run into many issues.

Unless the OP's paladin is actually in the Order of Voln, this wouldn't provide much besides the fluff verbs though...

I am in Voln but I have some very nice full plate at the moment so I don't think Voln armor will be an option.

As far as some of the other suggestions those crit types do look intriguing. I have been checking out the crit tables on the wiki, am I correct in assuming that the new flares would be similar in crit rank to my current flares? So if my plasma flares a rank 4 arm wound then the crushing or acid would theoretically flare a similar crit rank? Assuming no weakness on the part of the creature.
