Sounds like the new Assassin's Creed game will take place in Greece. Surprised they haven't made one take place in Japan. Everyone knows ninjas are the ultimate assassin.

I was hoping we'd get a continuation of Bayek and/or Aya's story. Bayek is the best protag the series has had since Ezio, IMO

Let me guess, you are going to be a Spartan Assassin even though Sparta was pretty unrecognizable by the time the game's Assassins were created.

Recognizable or not they were still around. Besides it isn't like this is supposed to be 100% historically accurate.
I mean, no... Their city was, sorta. They had been Roman for the last 100 years, Achaens for 50 years prior to that. The culture was just gone.
But yes, it is a game and they'll probably have Leonidas looking motherfuckers all up in there. It is just corny to me, Spartan Assassins. Like this other game called Ninja Ghost Sniper that was out.

Probably. The short tease trailer shows a Spartan looking dude giving someone a Leonidas kick to the chest.
