I think many find HK RP options overly restrictive (as in they can't play a conventionally attractive skinny, blonde elf with sun-kissed whatever).

Mechanically, they are not optimal bolters, which is the preferred play stye for most wizards. HK are the optimal war-mages though.

Really they're not too bad even as bolters -- no DEX bonus is certainly better than a negative one! And at least they don't have the negative AUR bonus of a halfling. It's just that LOG bonus....

But hey, if someone else has already done the work of gaining 11m exp, I guess a lousy logic bonus isn't such a big dea.
