You analyze your black silk sandals and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.
The creator has also provided the following information:
You carefully analyze your black silk sandals and sense that there are some alteration restrictions. Your sandals must remain some kind of boots, slippers, shoes, or sandals. You can change the article (the first 15), but it will carry forward to all variants of the sandals, even after unlocking. IE: if you make it "an old white shirt", then it will always be "old". No shows; long descriptions are okay as long as the additional description falls after the noun.
You may not change the color. You may not change the material. You can alter the "extra" (the description after the noun.)
This is currently Tier 4 and has the following verbs available:
CLEAN, PINCH, PULL, RUB, PUSH, TICKLE, CLENCH, RAISE, WEAR, REMOVE
Your sandals is fully unlocked.
You get no sense of whether or not the sandals may be further lightened.
WEAR: One by one, you slip your black silk sandals onto your feet.
REMOVE: One by one, you slip your feet out of the blue silk sandals, and wiggle your toes. Ahh, that feels so good!
CLEAN (worn): You lick the tip of your finger and rub a smudge off your blue silk sandals.
CLEAN (held): You discreetly spit into the palm of your hand and buff your blue silk sandals.
PULL (worn): You stick a finger into your blue silk sandals and pull, attempting to stretch them out. You must be retaining water!
PULL (held): You scrutinize your blue silk sandals, looking for loose threads.
PUSH: You step out of your blue silk sandals and pick one up, working it back and forth to try and loosen the material. Darn, those things are tight!
CLENCH: Clearly annoyed, you clench your fists and stomp your feet. Think you got your point across?
RAISE (worn): You lift one foot off the ground, attempting to show off your amazing balancing skills. I don't think anyone's watching.
RAISE (held): You hold your blue silk sandals near your face, waiting with anticipation and hoping that someone will tell you they compliment your brown eyes beautifully.
Here are some variations I saw. I doubt these are complete lists.
