Deeds in Icemule

Greetings,

I haven't bought deeds for a LONG time, but I tried 3 times today and once a couple days back.

I close the door, pull the chain, open the drawer, add in gems and then close the drawer.

I'm level 46 with 0 deeds. It should cost 4701 to get that next deed. I first placed gems worth 2.1k silvers. When I bought my other deeds, I discovered that the gems are worth 3x their value. However, to be safe, I assume they are worth 2.8x and I also add in an extra 1k to the cost of the deed. As such, my gems were worth at least 5880 and I "needed" 5701 worth of gems.

I was NOT given a deed.

Then I tired again, this time with 2400 worth of gems with deed value (2.8x) of 6720. Still did not get a deed.

Then I tried a third time with a pearl and sapphire worth 3200 with deed value (2.8x) of 8960. Still did not get a deed.

Has the formulas changed?

Okay. Just to be clear. I've bought ALL my deeds in Icemule in the past. Had upwards of 30 of them.

The values for the gems was 3x when I bought them within the last year.

I have always heard that the discount for gems works only in the temple in the Landing.

Yeah, IMT has a different bonus. I think it's... wands?

/edit: Someone messed with the wiki to say it's gems AND wands, but I don't believe it. I've also had trouble with the IMT deed thing so I just do it in the Landing.

I think the bonus is only for magical items and not for gems. I haven't bought a deed there in like 18 years though.

I dunno. I've had characters in IMT for years so I'm familiar with gem prices, but it's always been wonky. Most recently I brought them all up to 20 deeds each and had it fail a bunch of times, and while the formula breaks a bit the more deeds you have, it always worked in the Landing.
