T-minus 3 hours until AIM is gone for good. I know that most people do not care, but for many of us that play GS, this has been a vital part of our communication. I have no idea why I feel weird about it going away.

Most of us have left AIM for a newer, slimmer model with Discord. She's about 20 years younger with a much nicer body and her features don't sag.Originally Posted by WRoss

Probably because a lot of people who don't play GS or keep up-to-date with tech aren't on it and while I don't know about you, but there's some names on my AIM list I'm going to miss seeing, even if they haven't been online in years. =( It's kind of like closing the door on those friendships forever.

I quit AIM when it stopped letting me log in like a year ago or something. I just use FB messenger now.

897 logouts registered when it shutdown for me, via trillian logging apparently were still a lot of users
