enchanting curiousities

Just fixskilled into a full blown pure with the primary focus for the foreseeable future being doing enchanting as my major focus and then doing occasional hunting. I picked up water lore for major acid and fire lore for steam. Wondering at 39 with my current makeup what I could reasonably attempt. I picked up some project piece perfects I'd like to push to 7x but also need to know if that is even in the realm of possibility.

You should be able to manage 7x, maybe with a bit of risk. These days, though, just cast 925 at the item and it'll tell you exactly how hard it is for you. You may have to temper it first to get an accurate read.
