Any chance Lich can be installed/hacked onto a chromebook? Any suggestions on getting it running would be helpful. Otherwise, while I'm at work I can just run the web client.

I asked this once but was told it couldn't be done. I don't remember why though.
I realized while typing my response that I was being unhelpful and vague, but I'm posting it anyway.
We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men. Edward R. Murrow
Its because it runs a proprietary OS that no one has written software to make it compatible with lich. Plus most of them do not have much in the way of storage since the software is designed to be run from the cloud.
Right, but the new Chromebooks are up there with storage, not to mention i5 and i7 processors, so they're being built with more mainstream tech. Wonder if I can just dual book windows if the boot allows me.
The little bit that I looked at said it was a specific to Chrome, but who knows, it is fairly likely that is Linux under the shell.
You can use crouton (https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton) on most Chromebooks and play GS. You can also install full Linux (on ARM Chromebooks, mainly, maybe exclusively) and play that way. I've tried both and they work well, depending on your needs, and your Chromebook's performance. I use an HP 14 (Falco) that several years old at this point, so newer models I'm pretty positive you should be good, within the previous parameters.
Interesting, thanks. I would just need instructions or find them if I want to go down this route. I have a Surface pro 3...it's great, but am looking for something newer. Everything in our home is Chrome/Android based, so was looking to see if this was a viable option.
