GM inside man/leaker gave me a heads up on this. Called "Magma Flares", does initial damage than preceding damage over time from the magma. It's kinda cool.

not even close, but good try.
the flare is a spell on the target called ghezresh's intimidation. on a 5x ghezyte weapon it causes -5x (-25/-15) DS/TD to the target. I am theorizing that at 6x it will cause -6x(-30/-18) DS/TD to the target, but this is so far not able to be proven. we'll see when the simucon goodie bags come out if the ghezyte item there provides anymore insight. the spell lasts about 10 seconds after the flare.
