Druid build

Hey all,

I'm thinking about fixskilling my TWC ranger to a pure druid build.

He's level 47.. is this viable at that level? I know most of the Ranger attack spells can be pretty mana intensive.

Just wondering what tips you guys have for making this work at this level. Also, is it fun? TWC is definitely fun, but I'm looking for something new.

He always hunts with an Empath, too, if thats important.

Train ranged for DS (2x ranged/perception, no ambush), wear double leathers (8 ranks), train 1x ranger spells, 20 ranks of MnS, and 40 ranks of summoning lore. Everything else can be slotted in later. Can you do that with your current TPs? If so, it should work but you'll run out of mana frequently. You'll need to use 610 a lot to set up targets, then 616 or your bow to kill them.

What race and Society? COL will make this way easier if you're a Good Spirit Race.

Was there a 616 trinket from DR? Because MIU with that would mean 20 free casts a day right, if you have bank roll it might be worth it

Yeah, 20k bloodscrip for it. It's a reasonable backup for a casual who wants to be able to finish a few hunts but who's running out of mana.

This is my CoL Druid, I really enjoy this build the downside is that you're limited to hunting bipeds but the upside is that you fry quickly.

Holy crap. Are you relying entirely on spells for DS? No weapon skill or dodge at all, no armor?
