It's because 1x MIU (101 ranks) is casting the spell as a level 50 wizard against a level 100 character.

It would only work for 2x MIU (202 ranks) and even then it's questionable.

Well I should have realized Roblar had at least 100 MIU ranks.

I tested 917 by imbedding it in a wand and giving it to Roblar last night. He waved the wand at me 3 times and was unable to hit me even once due to his lack of mage spell levels. I'm not sure what is involved in dodging it but my perception and pf are both only 20 ranks, no dodge or cm. Effectively that self charging 917 wand seems useless to anyone who is not a mage. And if you were a mage you can cast it anyway or imbed it for free.

You should test it again on someone with 202 MIU. Warriors can only 1x.

Heh, everyone tells me the prices are off. I've never actually used those services so I can only go off of the hooker exchange (to my knowledge, there have certainly been women trashy enough that could have possibly advertised on it). There are plenty of easy enough women in the clubs within my ability to bring home that I've never needed to hire a hooker. Now there are plenty of desperate women because they won't date on their social level (that 40 year old woman with a heart of gold and 18 kids believes a millionaire prince super stud will descend from the heavens to marry her) so they always take the temporary dalliance with the reasonably attractive man while waiting on someone out of 50 shades of grey to arrive The younger women like that I'm financially secure, older, and fit (thank you gym for being there for me) and have no debt while working a higher than average paying job in my area. Thank goodness for the 60s, otherwise I might actually have to marry and financially support one of these women.

The only two that may have been actual working hookers were when I was in a casino in Mississippi and they would have had to have been hired by the casino, and that was a decade ago. I got a little drunker than planned and it became evident that I was counting cards according to my friends I went with (I used to be able to keep 5 decks counted using the simpler methods of counting cards with a small margin of error). I was up about 4k and suddenly two attractive Vietnamese girls sat on my lap. It was a fun night moderately expensive but fun. I left the casino up 2k and had a hell of a time. 10/10 would go again

I guess I should just start off by saying not using the silvers that we all have spent years collecting as the actual currency to buy "stuff" makes the idea of hunting pointless for anything but experience gain. Yes I get you will find the occasional cool thing maybe once a month but it makes it meh.

I'm having a really hard time thinking that micro transactions are the way of the future for a 25 year old text based game. And now even EG, really it just seems to me this is shitting all over your long term customer base. Me personally I don't even buy shit anymore, I use what I find. I did go to a dig once and wanted to rip my eyeballs out of their sockets before I even got through 20 dig attempts.

In my honest opinion I think development is lost in the woods. From the GS players I know and have also been introduced to IRL, they don't have the money for this shit. At best they can handle a premium account and the occasional paid event. I will refrain from commenting on what I think of people who pay cash for items. cough :you suck at gaming: cough...cough :you're attention whores: cough. excuse me.

P.S. My personal coolest find was a pair of socks that dropped that a GM had done some design work on, they were fucking cool and made an awesome gift for a friend I have long cared for.

The trolls are intended to be a tougher creature for melee/ranged. Spellcasters also have tough creatures. There are tactics you can use to bring down their DS.

Nothing changed with traps, only that on the user end, a specific script is not working as it once did. Traps become frequent once a creature is injured. In a team match, this means it could be 3 times faster.

Try using the CombatBrief flag to help with scroll.

This was the case until we gave a QoL improvement to help archers recover their arrows. Prior to that update, the room was cleaned up entirely.

Also, unless you're killing very quickly, the ;arenawatch script may not spot all of the traps that can occur during a match.

I wrote that script on the spot for that Midnight guy streaming in Plat because he kept dying to the traps and he didn't understand what to do. I noticed in this DR arena (not sure if it's the first time ever but it's certainly different than the last time I played) that the critters setup to do a new trap a few seconds after attempting to push the player into a trap. I just wrote up that script for him and didn't expect anyone else to download it. Next day he must have been using it on his stream and telling people about it because it had over 100 downloads at that point.

For anyone using this script I have made a lot of changes it to help reduce all of the false readings it was getting before (for example matching tROLL as ROLL.) From what I've seen it works pretty well now and shouldn't have anymore false positives like that. I don't know if you can WATCH while in castRT, if you can then you don't really need to stop attacking like the script suggests while in castRT. But I do know you can't WATCH while in hard RT, which is why the script tells you to stop attacking so the script has a chance to WATCH the critter to perform the right action.
