    Default Warmage Thoughts and Suggestions

    So, I've been trying out UAC warmage for the past... 40 levels? It's been pretty great. The primary restriction is that I don't really hunt undead. However, I have 2x SA for the situation where I would want to hunt undead, but honestly have not tried bolting anything much at all.

    This has raised some questions:

    1. I am master in GoS, but feel like I'm getting little value from the society since I don't warcamp and get lots of padding from 520. I wear HCP double leathers + GoS sigil + 520 w/ +7 padding. This means I my warmage is "expertly" crit padded, which doesn't really add a lot of value because of crit randomization? I still get wrecked immediately by a higher level casting earthen fury despite all this padding. Also, I don't really use CMAN feint at all because my stamina is reserved for sigil maintenance. So, should I switch to Voln and make undead more "accessible"? Should I drop feint entirely and focus on passive CMANs?

    2. Considering my limited use of bolts, I'm considering dropping spell aiming entirely and bolstering my Major Elemental CS, so I can make better use of 501 as a setup spell. Right now I can't ward things terribly well with MjE, even though I tried to keep 1x in MjE and have decent ranks in MnE as well (for 425). Does it make sense to keep spell aiming at this point? I could count the number of times I've bolted in the past week of hunting on a single hand... Of course, I just avoid undead in general, but if I had Voln I would have a mechanism of fighting them without needing bolts.

    GoS is my favorite society simply for "set it and forget it" mana regen with a lot of character. For characters that don't use much/any stamina on cmans, I just kept a script running that was constantly turning stamina into mana whenever I was at less than 75% mana.
