And, at this point, Mueller has publicly connected the dots for everyone. We know that Campaign associates (including his campaign manager) were in regular contact with Wikileaks while the email hacking and dumping was going on, we know that Trump had active business dealings with Russia during his campaign (and that Russian sanctions were threatening the project), we know that Campaign members (and his own personal attorney) were in regular contact with Russian government officials and intelligence operatives, and we know that Trump and his campaign lied repeatedly about all of these things.

And we know that Trump has been continually trying to obstruct justice from the start of (his knowledge of) the investigations.

Anyone who thinks that this is all going to end with a big "No one did anything wrong, and this was all just a mountain out of a mole hill" is fooling themselves.

Given your history of political prognostication here, you don’t mind if we let this just play out.. do you? The last time you said it was already over was when you said Trump had no chance of getting elected.

How’d that work out for you?

There will be no charges filed against Trump or any of his family. Mueller is taking too long and every day that goes by without any report or actual evidence is just him rattling the cages to see what pops up. You’re seeing things that just isn’t there.
And not to mention that there still is no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia.. which was supposed to be the reason we needed this “investigation” to begin with...

It took 2+ years to get Nixon. The Benghazi investigation took 4+ years.

Mueller has only been investigating this since May 2017 and he's paid for it all with seizing Manafort's funds.

So, how is Mueller taking too long?

I don't think you understand the extent of this. These aren't "minor infractions"- these are felonies. Felony campaign finance law violations, conspiracy against the US, felony digital privacy/hacking law violations, etc.

The US Election was hacked- in multiple senses of the word- by a foreign enemy in cooperation with a US Presidential campaign, and a sitting US President did everything in his power to hide the attack and his campaign's involvement. This is the biggest Presidential scandal of modern US political history.

This case has already resulted in almost three times as many people being indicted than the Iran-Contra scandal, and it's not done. And Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in a felony campaign finance law case already. (Plus he's being sued by NY State for his gross abuse of his private foundation- remember when you all used to pretend like you cared about that?)

Just because you've heard people in Trump orbit repeatedly saying "This is taking too long/This has gone on forever" doesn't mean it's true. You need to stop falling for the rhetoric and look at what's actually going on in front of you. Mueller and his team are working their way up the chain- as you always do- unraveling what has turned out to be an incredibly complicated web of lies and- candidly- treason. (in the non-juridical sense)

And it's only been a year and a half. There's a lot more to come.

And neither the email investigations nor Benghazi investigations resulted in a single indictment.

But yeah, this is a Witch Hunt.

Taking too long? He's moved faster than any other similar investigation and he's up to 33 people charged and 100+ criminal charges.
