Wait- are you arguing that foreign governments meddling in our elections to choose our own elected officials for us (the ones that are most in their best interests) is...required for us to have healthy trade relationships? And your example for that is a country that's currently facing economic sanctions from us- and therefore someone we're not supposed to be trading with?
