Cohen is most certainly connected to the Russian investigation though. He knows all about the multiple Trump Tower Moscow deals, his trip to Prague, the Ukraine peace deal, etc. Cohen flipping and cooperating with federal investigators is the final nail in Trump's coffin.

“Nothing in that conversation suggests that he had any knowledge of it in advance,” Mr. Giuliani said, adding that Mr. Trump had directed Mr. Cohen that if he were to make a payment related to the woman, write a check, rather than sending cash, so it could be properly documented for campaign finance laws.

Hopefully it will be easy to prove or disprove.

A reminder that the Shera Bechard case, barring an extension, becomes unsealed in 6 days. Cohen is sure to have made tapes of those conversations and it seems very likely that Trump is the one that had an affair with Bechard and paid her $1.6 million to keep quiet about aborting his baby.
