I've heard people say the delegates only voted that way because of the super delegates, but I think I remember the majority of the super delegates holding off until it was clear the delegates were in majority in favor of Hillary. Either way, I think it is funny that people get pissy at the super delegates. Bernie has been a politician since 1981, and then for 2 years he was a Democrat, he switched back to being an independent again after 2016. He basically just popped in and said "I'm gonna go ahead and take over leadership of this party, thx."

Individual 1's consigliere gets his prison sentence at 11 today.

Russian spy Maria Butina and her GOP operative boyfriend are telling the FBI how they helped setup a very private line if communication between Russian government officials and Individual 1 and how the NRA was used to funnel tens of millions of dollars to Individual 1's campaign. Cohen's sentence hearing is ongoing now and Assistant US Attorney Nicholas Roos is talking about how these campaign finance crimes carried a tremendous social cost.

"In committing these crimes, Mr. Cohen ((and by extension the Individual 1 who ordered them*)) has eroded faith in the electoral process and compromised the rule of law."

Judge William Pauley walked through each of the counts against Cohen, saying "each of these crimes is a serious offense against the United States."

"Mr. Cohen pled guilty to a veritable smorgasbord of fraudulent conduct." he said.
