What is far more telling is how these apparent "educated and qualified people" are on a silly MUD website day in and day out, playing their little computer game, and generally fucking around. I've met and had the honor of working under some *actual* policymakers in Washington, they don't have a minute to waste during the day (stark contrast to our current POTUS), when they're not trying to catch 10 minutes of sleep they are pouring over a study or report. They are NOT fucking around on some tee hee video game website.

No one said anything about educated or qualified, but they are our constitutients and they probably are easier to talk to when you don't open chats with "FUCK YOU FUCKERS" and variations thereof.

Also you really think starting businesses and growing families from absolutely nothing is not impressive?

You've had the *honor* of working for "actual policymakers", I work with actual people who spend day in and day out creating things and serving the country. Maybe your policy makers aren't fucking around but it sure looks like they are. We report our time in increments of a few minutes at a time. To Necro, seriously, economic policy on a micro scale is indeed very complicated and irritating. On the macro scale, it's pretty simple, Socialism never works, Capitalism is not fair to those that won't get off their ass and work and the previous administration wanted to tax and regulate us into prosperity which is somewhat like adding wet wood to a camp fire then spraying it with water because you are cold and want to warm up. It just doesn't work. All those *actual* policymakers you speak of are indeed PAID to do exactly what they are doing so that those at the top don't have too. If you think that any human has the ability to fully and completely understand everything that the government does and it's effects then you are delusional. Higher ups pay underlings to be specialists in one particular area, condense that knowledge to concise points and be able to answer questions and provide explanations on demand. This process continues from the bottom all the way to the top and your lack of demonstrated understanding of this is laughable.

Lastly, the need for play, for mental downtime is one of the large focuses in productivity for executives and decision makers since not having down time is akin to being in combat. The US Army figures a person has around 100 days of actual combat time before becoming a liability which is why tours of duty were made to be a year long. Non-stop focus on a task makes most people fatigued, irritable, irrational and leads to failures in the decision making process as well as simply bad decisions. I didn't give much of a shit about Obama golfing other than some of his timing and I don't care about Trump golfing either. Real leaders go a lot of business on the golf course. I was much more concerned with Obama's Marxist dogma and utter lack of leadership and effective response to important things like ISIS, China's passive aggressive crap, North Korea and his capitulation on Russia conquering one of it's neighbors major cities and his utter gutting of the military and space program.

We're on the brink of war with NK with China and Russia saying they'll back our opponents, aka North Korea. The Peshmerga have pushed out ISIS from Syria and Iraq and we're looking to turn our backs on them again to make Turkey happy. I get the fear that people have for making the country into what happened to Russia. But going balls to the wall the other way in fear and without looking back and saying "Maybe we have a better way" is not good either.

I would prefer that we stop sucking Turkey's dick. They have gone down the rabbit hole of hardline Islam on the edge of extremism worse than Saudi Arabia in a lot of ways. Other than some decently priced non-Glock firearms from there, why do we put up with them again? They kind of shit on NATO at nearly every turn.

If we really wanted to put the screws to Russia we could easily do so with some real hard hitting sanctions. If we really wanted to change the dynamic in Europe, we should allow the export of natural gas to Europe so they can stabilize their markets and stop having to suck Russia's dick since they decided to stop using coal. China is having some economic struggles and is trying to distract their people with crap to try and claim nationalist pride all while their people choke to death in major cities due to pollution. It is very unlikely should we strike NK, which I honestly don't think we will do, that Russia or China would do much of anything other than maybe send supplies and provide weapons.

If some semi protracted crap happened, after some shock and possibly some setbacks, the US would wipe the walls with NK. If they chose direct involvement, well then again it would go badly for everyone but worse for them. Heaven help the world if Lil Kim decided to actually manage to nuke the anyone because in an instant we would then tell the rest of the world to fuck off and die and we would likely remove NK from the map followed by the end of the DMZ, South Korea would move in and take over and the post war reunification would devastate China's hopes in the region for the next 50 years if not cause them to collapse as a Communist/Socialist country.

Also, talking and playing nice has not worked so far. We have offered talk and concessions and agreements for decades and they have not been effective. I am all for applying a little more of the stick since the carrot has been largely ineffective.
