Even when you look up what "cotton picking hands" means on the internet it's usually used a way to mean "damn", which is how I have always heard it used.
People are much too sensitive. She immediately apologized and said she didn't mean it in an offensive way but not good enough for the mob! They went to the principal, walked out of class, and she was escorted from the building and will never be allowed back on campus.
It's nuts. I want these idiots to go through each and every movie that has ever existed where they use the term "cotton picking hands" and demand the studios to remove that movie from streaming services and won't sell it ever again. But naww, that won't happen. Hollywood is too woke. Better go after a teacher who didn't mean anything by it.
I mean, what was the primary occupation of slaves in the 1800s? Picking cotton. It doesn't take any great leap.
