"Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong tells fans he's 'renouncing' his U.S. citizenship over Supreme Court ruling"
""F*** America," Armstrong said on stage for the Hella Mega tour his band is headlining alongside Weezer, Fall Out Boy and others. "I'm f***ing renouncing my citizenship. I'm f***ing coming here." - He means he's "moving to Britian"...
Now the funny part....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aborti...United_Kingdom
"In England, Scotland, and Wales, abortion is permitted on the grounds of:
1. risk to the life of the pregnant woman;
2. preventing grave permanent injury to her physical or mental health;
3. risk of injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman or any existing children of her family (up to a term limit of 24 weeks of gestation);
4. substantial risk that, if the child were born, he or she would "suffer from such physical or mental abnormalities as to be seriously handicapped".[1]
Which... pretty much is the same now currently in the United States.
So the US had more lenient abortion laws than the UK previously... pretty much has the same laws as the UK now post decision... but is still more lenient than the UK on abortion - as individual States can regulate their own laws.
This is the difference between a knowledgeable person on laws and what is actually occurring.... versus ignorant mouthpieces that are full of shit like this guy. Dude should stick to music.
This moron actually thinks moving to a country that has more restrictions on Abortion... is the way to protest in favor of abortion. Astounding.
Let's see where he is in 2 years... I doubt in England LOL. Fucking idiot.
