Labor department numbers are out, half a million new jobs have been added and unemployment has dropped to 3.5%. Guess we're not going to have much of a recession after all. Falling gas prices, deficit reduction by making sure mega corporations can't avoid taxes, a job for everyone who wants one.. Bad news for the Republicans.

Yeah, but now 15/hr isn't enough to live on. Guess it is the push for $20 now.

I hate the way you break it to you, but without Democrats pushing for minimum wage increases at the state level, most employers would be paying the federal minimum wage of $7.25, and prices would still have increased. Republicans have been trying to make everyone but the Hughes earners into serfs for decades.

You don't seem to understand the point I was making, and as always, it went straight over your head.

Americans need to work two jobs @ higher wages to enjoy the same standard of living they had in 2019.

YAY, fake unemployment numbers that don't account for the numbers of people that have left the workforce and certainly don't account for the millions of illegals that have entered in the past 2 years but hey, still trying to carry water for Socialism and big government.

Total nonfarm employment has increased by 22.0 million since reaching a low in April 2020 and has returned to its pre-pandemic level.
Oh look, according today's number from the Bureau of Labor Management, you're wrong. For once you might want to try actually researching your frivolous claims.

So, where in those numbers do they mention those who have left the workforce? Where do they mention the illegals taking up millions of jobs that aren't on the books so to speak? When you morons quote a percentage they don't count those so I am not wrong. You cite one thing that does not address the others at all because you are simply dumb. My claims are accurate and precise. Your citation is unrelated and this irrelevant.

Hey, look at that goal post, it just ironically moved itself to a land where people never get old and retire, get injured and leave the work force and where people just make up intangibles so they can claim it's impossible to disprove their made up figures!
