You prefer the .40 over 9mm? I've had people tell me they don't like it, but never told me why. From what I've read it is very similar to the 9mm, just a tad more lethal.

Also think about reaching out to a vendor rep, those manufacturers usually have LE discounts so if you can show what it is for they usually take 20% off

You crouch, sweep a leg at Master Footpad Truaz and connect!
Master Footpad Truaz falls to the ground! You deftly regain your footing.

    [You have 1 repetition(s) remaining.]

** A spike on your spiked ora leg greaves jabs into the Footpad Truaz! **
    ... 15 points of damage!
    Well aimed shot, punctures calf!
    The Footpad Truaz is stunned!
    Roundtime: 5 sec.

That is a good idea. I'll see about that.

I feel like we just talked about this elsewhere, but I carried a Sig 228 in 9mm for plainclothes and a 226 .40 for open and I really recommend them. There isn't a big difference between .40 and 9mm except for cost and amount of rounds you can carry, both of which 9mm wins out. I'd rather be able to place more rounds on target than some mythical 'damage' boost.

p.s. to really impress your department, tell them you want to carry a .50 Desert Eagle.

No, I'm going to get a vest with 10 holsters and carry 10 derringers.
