Great man, great achievements, great ad.

We need more of this.

Family (in whatever form), Faith (in whatever you believe), Community (in whichever you live), Country (that we all belong to), and Individual effort and achievement free of Government intervention. Those are the ideals that the US has tried to achieve. Those are "conservative" and traditional "liberal" views.

It was not easy, nor always correct, but it was the hope and an ideal to strive for. So many sacrificed to try and reach a perfect union - this ideal. We sadly have allowed a small minority to divide us against one another, and it's sad to watch happen.



I give it 2 days before someone calls him an "uncle tom" or some other derogatory thing. And all this man would do is probably smile, and tell you to have a nice day, as he carried on with his life.

We here love him and the commercial is a big hit. He has been called an Uncle Tom for a long time and he shrugs it off.
