Speaking of roofies:
In the astrolabe pouch you see a tall glass of pink love potion, a bottle of love potion and an aquamarine glaesine vial.
The first two are merely for show, but the vial is a love potion. When drunk, the person will fixate on a random person of the opposite sex in the room and confess their undying love to them. It's rather entertaining to fool people into drinking it.
