I never saw much difference if the off hand is reasonably light. sonic flares on right hand is preferred imho. Run a faster base on the off hand like a dagger or short and test it

Have you ever played Shattered? The group there is small but really nice. I'd guess the census issues have more to do with folks not having opportunities to participate in events and story lines....

How is capping not a goal? That doesn't make much sense to me. Capping is not the end all be all either, but it is a fundamental turning point in the game play in GS.

What sucks is grinding a character solo when you'd like to be hunting with friends who have capped characters. It takes maybe 500 hours to move from one hunting ground to another, about 10 trains or...

I know about all the changes, but it's still several 1000 hours of investment which I think puts off most everyone but the most hard core.
