oh ya i was just thinking about it and i rememberd a while back i was getting some real shitty audio outta my speakers and the reason was because my audio cord was only partialy plugged in, some how...

try finding a more recent driver for your sound card and install it or try reinstalling your current driver. Not sure if someone already posted this but if they did my bad.
