I personally would stick with THW and hunt minotaurs and then stronghold. You have a million in favour so you won't have any problems getting through the gap this way. I think you will struggle...

I personally would have thought upgrading your 6x weapon to a 6x perfect or 7x perfect would give you better quality of life at this stage. Or buying some decent armor.
