Yeah, I get that. It started to gel for me by the 4th episode. Over all though really cool to see Gaiman's work on screen. The whole concept of the book is really cool and I feel like they have captured the edginess of that fantastical journey.

I watched the first two episodes of Shooter on Netflix last night and enjoyed them. The gun nuts on here would probably like it, too. I watched bc Ryan Phillippe.
Mary Kills People on Lifetime.
I've only watched the first episode of season one but it's entertaining.
finished the season, watch it. just watch it. spoilers ahead.

the ever changing twilight becomes a miracle
i am, as i have said, a suspicious character. so rolling the credits in no way assured me that the ending was secured, and so i held my breath. but it was! and in exhalation i was not irritated. i kind of hope and hope against hope that the second season will get into the metagame of this whole scenario. barely addressing it in season one really worked, the inner drama carried well, but like HAL i am a computer and this hanging pointer stuck in me. something is horribly wrong with this setting, and the reactions of the elders only inflame it. we will see what we will see.
in conclusion, fuck you death spots. piece of shit.
Tokyo Ghoul
There's a lot of violence but the grisliest parts all happen off camera. The second season promises a lot of political intrigue and implied backstory. Very philosophical. Much emotion.
Started watching The Strain recently. Thought it was kind of funny the hacker girl talking about phreaks. Made me wonder how many people watching the show had any idea what she was talking about.
The Sinner
The first episode was good but suggested a familiar formula. I 100% guarantee that you will not guess where the story goes.
It was on USA, it's over now, presumably you can stream it on some place.
