Things have changed on the spell front quite a bit, I'm considering trying to make use of time stop, seems like it might be fun. Enchanting has changed significantly, but I was never really a big enchanter anyway, big dreams, no execution. My current considerations are just to take spells to max available for each sphere. i.e. 550, 435, 950, but I'm not up to date on what other effects that might have. Also, I think I might need to take Fire Lore to 20 for the Steam viability. I believe my old training plan called for as much AS as possible, but I can't really remember. Any suggestions ?

I could put myself at 550, 435, and 950, 21 ranks of fire lore, 1x EMC, 2x AS, MIU, HP, 1x Perc/Survival (bounty missions, easy money). This would allow me to go to 953 in Wizard ranks. Might be a couple levels before I could take wizard to full 1x, but then i'd just be catching up slowly in my off ranks. Thoughts?
So I am at work right now so I cannot look at my pure but I can tell you from beginning to cap he was ever only more than 1X in spell aim and spell training. I can see value in more than 1X in HP since it shortens cool down on rapid fire, in fact mine is at 2X dor no cool down. But more than 1X in AS and MIU means sacrificing spells or lores.

wetsand is pretty much where most wizards builds are at except for a CS build using a lot of earth lore and earthen fury or of course a melee wizard which still works really well, my UAC wizard is 86 now

Well, since I can't login to the game right now I'll update.
I dropped the extra HP, MIU, and AS to 1x. Moved Major Elemental and Minor elemental to level and am way short on wizard, but I haven't noticed any enchanting problems. I started enchanting my own robe as a test starting at +20 and i'm currently at +32, every test gives me the message that it would take a miracle to fail (or whatever that wording is for open roll fail only). Figure if I can get it to +35 without having to up my wizard levels, then I should be fine for now.
Plan is to stop MnE at 75, I think, not sure, would need to research more the gain/loss, but I'm pretty happy with it.
Haven't used rapidfire at all. Just sleep from time to time and steam bolt seems to get the job done.
