So if the wiki is correct if I have a weapon with KO flares I still have the ability to have additional flares. Does that also mean I could use the adventurers guild flare option? Because if so that will be the tits!

Should work. Other temp flares do.
Just don't go by the charts, they are outdated a bit. Go by the text above it.
The real question is will KO flares block enchanting?
You can enchant weapons with knockout flares.
Hmm may need to find someone's who can then
KO being a script, you can bless / enchant / add temp flares / put weighting on the weapon... You just can't get any services done to the weapon during festival of the fallen!
