Sorting Caligos spell preps and stuff with gameObj-data.xml mods

NOTE: I had an error in the code that was fixed earlier today. If you tried modifying your gameObj-data file and it failed, that's probably why. It's fixed now.
Okay, for those of you who have found any, many, or too many (or want to!) spell preparation, spell messaging, flare modifiers or tokens, I am offering the ability to sort them out via ;sorter, through modifications to your gameObj-data.xml file.
There are a few levels to this, on account of my liking exceedingly granular data when I look in my own containers.
First up, sorting all things Caligos out. Please be aware that this covers both 2017 AND 2018; I have not seen everything this year that was found in 2017, just as there are many being found this year that were not (to my knowledge) found last year. Sources included, but were not limited to: the 2017 and 2018 Ebon Gate mini-game prize lists, PC for sale boards, personal and Platinum community finds, and the lich scripting Discord compilation.
Step 1:
Open your gameObj-data.xml file in a text or code editor. Notepad, NoteTab, editpad are fine; I don't recommend MS Word.
A few tips before you get started with Steps 2-5:
Before you start working on this, enter the following in game:
;repo unset-updatable gameobj-data.xml
This will keep lich from overwriting your modifications, unless there is an error in the modified code.
Backups are your friend. If something goes wrong with a modification, lich will at least try and re-download the standard gameObj-data.xml file. Make sure you save a copy of your original gameObj-data file (if it's not the standard), and a second of modifications as you go along. I recommend having two copies open - the backup and the one you are currently working on. Once you know the one you've modified works, use select all, copy, and paste to the backup copy before you move to the next step.

These two types* will add A) all the spell preps, spell messaging modifications (including stuff that gives different manna bread, floating disks, and major sanctuaries, among other things), and B) all of the flare tokens known as of this posting. You can change the names ("Caligos spell modifiers" and "flare token") to whatever you'd like to call them by changing the text inside the quotes.

Step 3: Adding exceptions
This part gets a little trickier.
Exceptions keep various things included in the Caligos spell modifications category from also being sorted into other categories like scrolls, jewelry, and skins.
A. Find <type name="jar">. Within that type there will be an <exclude> line. Replace that entire line (<exclude>[text]</exclude>) with the following:

Step 4: Further sorting
All of the following steps, and even step 3, are optional when adding sorting for Caligos spell mod items. This step and the next simply offer more granular information
The three types listed here - just types now, all the exception lines were added back in Step 3 - sort out:
Custom flare messaging - including those offered at Flares of Interest, which are not included in the Caligos spell modifications category listed in Step 2.
Spell preparation - indicates that the item(s) listed modify the spell preparation messaging, 1st, 3rd, and hidden points of view.
Spell messaging - indicates that the item(s) listed modify the effects of the spell: manna bread, floating disk, major sanct room description, tangleweed, bolt messaging, etc.
As in Step 2, these can be added between any pair of </type><type> tags.

Yes, that is a lot of categories. If you only want the ones applicable to all spells, certain races or professions, or particular circles, those are at the top and end with the "All" category.
