So if I have 5 accounts logged in, 4 are just chilling somewhere doing nothing, and 1 active one fails a script check, they now stack a penalty for all 5? That's some bullshit right there.

yep.. so if 1 guy gets busted, itll put a multiplier on it also and up the penalty. all 99 guys would have a no exp/treasure/reward penalty for.. forever probably since it was 99 accounts lol.

This Itzel stuff just started relatively recently, at least with me. People are saying she used to hang out in plat but now that plat is gone she has moved onto overly policing prime, which would make sense for the timing.

I'm just hoping Wyrom sees this nonsense and reins her in, but seeing as they shut down any criticism almost immediately on the official Discord he probably won't see it until people start canceling their accounts and blame her for the reason why.

Usually when I get hit with multiple open rolls on maneuvers in a row and I watch my rolls come out negative 4 or 5 times in a row, that really pisses me off. Count me as another person canceling due to Itzel and her so called script checks.

After checking the logs, she gave me a 1:30 minute script check, where the warning text was short and only sent a few times. I missed it straight up. As I'm replying to her and stopping my characters immediately after I'm pulled in, she gives a 30 second script check on another character, and then claims since I missed that one as well, all my accounts are in violation. Proceeds to put a warning on each account, and a 30 day ban from any gains. Then insinuates that I should be grateful it wasn't the full "stacking" ban she could have given me, stating "You would never get out from under it". Also tells me my only option to protest is through feedback.

I passed two script checks back in February. They took up my screen and I could easily decipher what to do. Passed without issue. I didn't see ANYTHING in policy about the stacking she spoke about, or the fact that if two accounts fail a script check, all of them gets punished.

I've never encountered anything like this and I have no desire to deal with this nonsense now that I know she is allowed to target and harasses people. A game is not fun if I'm constantly paranoid and stressed about missing a blip on a screen a few times as I'm zooming around town.

In all honesty, they are fucked anyway.

You can almost just type into an AI prompt "create an online MUD style game with 30,000 rooms using the D&D 5th edition rules set." and have a fully functional game. 2 or 3 people could vibe code an exact mirror of Gemstone and have it online in 2 or 3 days. If someone wanted to be real dicks they could mirror characters as well.

Having a loose cannon like Itzel at this stage in the game kind of tells you there's other problems going on internally.

Just make sure whenever you quit, you point out Itzel's ridiculous script checking is why you quit.

I was hoping Wyrom would step in eventually. I guess it just took some people canceling their accounts to finally get his attention. Honestly it shouldn't have to get to that point before some action is taken, but he doesn't seem as active these days, but maybe I'm not on Discord much so maybe I just don't see it.

so now i just messaged feedback, they replied pretty quick saying they have had a staffing change in their department and if ive sent them anything about Itzel in the last few months please resend it and theyll send it right over to Wyrom..

i dont want to get too excited.. but, apparently stuff is happening.

well, i sent them a nice long ass email back showing Itzels fucked up antics towards Tim.. hopefully big worm gets in touch with me

got a reply from Vine in feedback yesterday morning, he/she(?) was going to talk to Wyrom about my situation later during the day.. heard nothing else throughout the day so no idea if they actually did.

59 days left now out of a 4 month penalty, hopefully we hear something back soon.
