Not political, but what are you gonna do about it Mr. Streamer?
When pk said he was going to have his lawyer subpoena a few ip's.
This thread almost never gets used. No one takes politics seriously. :(
I don't recall this thread at all. It should be used more.
20 years after 9/11 and I'm still angry and sad. Watching it on TV again and having lived in Dulles when it happened, I just want to kill all the fucking terrorists that are whooping it up again in Afghanistan. Forgiving and forgetting is for fucking losers. Kill them all.
We need to cut spending and use it for infrastructure alright, but not military spending. Last breakdown I saw put military spending at less than 1/6th of the budget and this was years ago, entitlement spending is over 3/5ths. Stop paying people not to work and shift funding to paying for real jobs and improvements.
This is an interesting topic actually.. but it's more convoluted than just the Federal spending that occurs.
My opinion Federal spending should be for the majority of external/international affairs, national highways, federal parks, etc. Large projects that a single State is not able to manage on it's own.. hence.. the "United States" of America... Federal funding should handle the "united" part.. not the individual part. That's in general, a full breakdown of course is up for debate.
What's left out is what the States do, and how they manage their taxes and apply them for the people that choose to live in those States. One of the worst concepts I currently hate about the direction of national politics is this idea that each State should be the same. The beauty of our system is that there are a multitude of States that all manage themselves differently based upon their populous. That is a good thing. It gives us all the freedom to choose our everyday living conditions, taxes, school systems, etc. based upon what we want/believe is best for ourselves and our families. That is being lost with the constant push for the Federal Government to run everything in my opinion.
So fundamentally, I already think the Federal Government spends to much (and please realize...what they spend... is what you earn for them - I'd rather you keep what you earn and spend it in your community)... but what they do spend should be on such things as the Military (National Defense), Interstates/train/planes/etc. (National Transportation Systems), National Parks/Wildlife (National coverage to ensure natural resource conservation), International Affairs, etc.... and not much else.
Without doing a true deep dive on State taxes/expenditures.. the Federal Government argument is a false picture I believe.
Fun conversation though. Interested in more insight for sure.
While people call social security and medicare "entitlements" they aren't the kind he was talking about. It is 23% of the budget in 2019 so I can guess it's fairly similar in 2016. That takes the total percentage way down.
He specifically said to stop paying people not to work and that would pay for infrastructure.
We have 405 billion we are paying in interest on debt. That's 33% what we spend on SS. 25% what we spend on medicaid/medicare. More than 55% what we spend on defense.
Federal spending is nearly double our Federal tax revenue (7 trillion vs 3.8 trillion). Any household in America knows you can't do this for forever. At some point the bill comes due, and the billionaires and multimillionaires don't make enough. Talk about where we should be spending all you want, when reality is we should be cutting everything the government does to right our budget for the next generations. There isn't even a fiscally responsible party anymore and frankly I don't think the millennials or whatever they are calling the generation after them have a clue how it's going to affect them in their "golden" years. Look at Greece and France and Italy and the measures they are having to take (and literal riots are occurring over) for a hint.
You know in the movies, where they have the bad guy with a shit ton of weaponry and all the people he rules over live in squalor?
Don't be that guy.
https://static.tweaktown.com/news/7/...tator_full.jpg
Absolutely fucking nothing. The major vast majority of the debt is owned by the US Public. China owns about 1 trillion in US debt. The US is OWED well more than that by other countries, because we also buy debt in other countries. We own more debt in other than countries than we owe to foreign holders of US debt.

Want to see why people get upset about "mandates"... it's a slippery fucking slope.
Fact is, most of it isn't earned. At max benefit, it only takes a few years to get paid back all you paid into for Social Security. Past that it is an entitlement just like any other. The same with Medicare. There is no fund, there is no interest, it's all a Ponzi scheme and if the government wasn't going it, it would be illegal.
You realize that the definition you cite doesn't have one bit to do with what is classed as an entitlement from the government. It is labeled that because people who collect it are "entitled" to it because of law, not because they paid anything in or even at all. Any other idiotic semantic arguments you want to make?
In the next few years, we will likely find out as their economy collapses and they try and use that as a way to keep the house of cards afloat. Which is why we should not cut military spending since there will be a war most likely with some kind of trigger like Hong Kong or Taiwan invasion or something stupid like that.
The alternate solution is what Democrats did in the 70s to pay off the Vietnam War and line the pockets of all their military donors and that was massive inflation since inflation makes loaned money worthless. It would also help alleviate the "Student Loan Crisis" and so on. Unfortunately just like in the 70s it decimates the poor and elderly. I imagine somewhere, someone was hoping Covid would kill off more in those two brackets since they consume the majority of Federal spending. I don't know if it was planned but I am sure someone has thought about it.
Why do you think China's economy will collapse?
Lol? China owns only 4% of our national debt. Next, China needs US treasury bonds more than the US needs to sell them to China.
China can’t do anything except stop buying or doing a massive sell off, and both would have major consequences on their own economy.
Edited: Also, China buys debt to help itself, not to help America. Here’s a great article explaining why.
https://medium.datadriveninvestor.co...s-778058575145
An educated, safe, clean society comes at a cost. A part of that cost is taking care of the poor and downtrodden. Mostly because it's fucking gross walking by homeless people when you're wanting to take the kids out for ice cream.
The only thing that's going to save our economy, besides making bombs, is an infrastructure renewal program using US sourced resources. We know this works because we have the work done by programs such as the corps of engineering to show for it.
We can literally have nicer things for building less bombs.
Because we are going to have a crash, without us buying their shit, something like 15+ percent of their economy collapses. That doesn't take into account any other western economic woes nor us defaulting on debt and ceasing interest payments as well as halting banking and so on to them. Is there an economy on the planet that can withstand that much shrink at once? Ours nearly collapsed when it happened to us and we had a lot less people to feed than we do now and they have insane amounts more people. India is in nearly the same boat.
And because like Japan, they have a growing segment of young population that doesn't want to work like their parents did.
We can have a lot more nicer things if we stop paying poor people to not be poor since it doesn't work. We have literally been doing the same thing since the 60 and it doesn't work and yet here you and others are wanting to do it more. It's like the stupid argument that real socialism hasn't been tried. Well, we have tried it, we have bankrupted our country doing it and you argue not to stop doing it.
I personally like having a lot more nicer things.
Socialism has been tried and it works wonderfully. One only has to look at every 1st world country to point out socialisms success's. The 2008 financial crisis would have been a nightmare without our aging safety net, this can't even be argued.
Sloth isn't the only deadly sin.
It's literally build one less bomb and house 100 families instead. For 1250 bombs we could house 500,000 people. We dropped 7,400 bombs in Afghanistan in 2019 alone. We could have housed millions of poor people for 3-4 generations for the cost of the bombs that literally got us nothing.
Well said.
I would agree with a lot of folks that a strong, innovative military to protect ourselves is vital. I don't believe that it means utilizing the military by intervening in the affairs of other countries without clear goals, a reasonable chance of lasting success and a clear exit strategy. America has had three decade plus long wars, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. One might argue that North Korea belongs there to given the armistice, but I'll limit to the three.
Of the named above, only Iraq has had a lasting positive effect. But even that is tenuous, their government is weak and growing more anti-America by the year. Yes, we have stomped out terrorism in the Middle East, but really that was accomplished within the first year in both Iraq and Afghanistan. By staying in both countries, by the prolonged Vietnam farce, our country really only has created massive amounts of debt and casualties.
I think it's time for isolationism to become our primary interest for a few decades. Make our country the beacon of freedom, success, stability and innovation. Make our shores impenetrable and make sure that basic services like food/shelter/medical are available for all, without subsidizing their bad habits beyond that.
Honestly, PB. You are a perfect example of how socialism does work. You obtained the most valuable asset in acquiring wealth, you're education, by means of socialism.
You own your own business, which usually means you do something that you enjoy for a living. That's ultimately the goal of our public education system and you're living proof that it works.
And his salary is paid for from the athletics department funds, which come from ESPN and ticket and concessions. Not the state or taxes. If Iowa made jack shit from football, he'd make jack shit for salary.
That being said, I'm talking about the STUDENT costs. It isn't free to go to college.
Which shows that socialism can and does create an environment in which capitalism can flourish.
P.S. We still have private schools along side public schools. That doesn't mean as a society we shouldn't strive to improve the quality of education available to our children and grand children.
Just because you had to climb rocks to get to school doesn't mean we shouldn't ever move the rocks.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/republica...154300451.html
Pay close attention... Health care is supposed to be about caring for the health of people regardless of their personal decisions - hence the Hippocratic Oath...
What happens when you let Government overreach occur: "The Biden administration said the rationing is temporary and aimed at “optimal and equitable use,” of the drug, but gave no indication how long the restrictions would last."
No comment on increased production. Only on rationing.
Pay very close attention, this or an action like it... if we continue down this path... will affect you soon enough.
Actually, I am the product of how capitalism is king.
My education did not give me the motivation to own my own businesses.. it was my drive to acquire more money to provide for my family that did.
The harder I worked, the more money I made.
And college is like the exact opposite of socialism, given I paid my own way.
The government doesn't produce medicine, and it's being debated whether the Defense Production Act can be used to force private companies to produce more.
What the government has a responsibility to do is ensure equal access to critical medicines, particularly as monoclonal antibody treatments are used to treat many more debilitating and deadly conditions. Joe Antivaxxer and his ten children aren't any more or less deserving than Aunty DyingFromCancer, that's for health practitioners to decide. But for a state with 60% Joe Antivaxxer population to hoover up all available supply shouldn't happen.
This attitude "Joe Antivaxxer and his ten children" is why we even have to have this "whether the Defense Production Act can be used to force private companies to produce more" debate.
It was exciting to watch 4 civilians get launched into orbit last night, I really think we will have man on Mars by 2030. We need more Elon Musks and those that are making mankind a multi-planetary species. The only way to do that is to make more humans and work together to provide a society that doesn't hinder a person's ability to chase their dreams and ideas.
Joes 10 children are the future Elon Musks.
Well yeah, imagine how much lower the monoclonal antibody demand would be if people would get vaccinated and quarantine when appropriate. Our country doesn't give new livers to alcoholics, kidneys to noncompliant diabetics or lungs to smokers, because the limited supply of transplants must be given to those with the mostly need who aren't a victim of their own life choices. This is the same rationality to monoclonal antibodies.
You mean like they used the DPA over the past 2 years?
You meant "paid to produce" not "forced to produce" right?
Your thinking is a political one.. not what a Doctor is supposed to do. We're not talking limited quantities based upon human death/donation to provide a resource (human organ transplants)... we're talking about a manufactured material.
By your logic... all people with Aids, should not get medical help. All people with severe STDs, should not get medical help. All obese or fat people, should not get medical help. All athletes, should not get medical help. All people that fuck themselves up on 4th of July with fireworks, should not get medical help. Etc. etc. etc.
Those are all that individuals life choice right? Those choices all led to their hospitalization right? So, per your logic, none of them should get help.
Your logic is the same rationality that dictators, authoritarian regimes... and insurance companies... like to use.
You're comparing a limited resource, ie monoclonal antibodies and transplant organs which need to be rationed, to chronic disease treatments which do not have supply limitations in the United States. Those aren't comparable in the slightest.
Your irrational comparisons aside, do you have a legitimate reason why a scarce and critical medical resource shouldn't be rationed? "Because freedom" isn't a legitimate reason.
Seriously though, people suffering severe illnesses whose lives would be saved by monoclonal antibodies should not be left to die because Joe Rogans, Governor Abbotts and Joe Antivaxxers have a mild coronavirus infection.
"Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are produced by introducing an antigen to a mouse and then fusing polyclonal B cells from the mouse's spleen to myeloma cells. The resulting hybridoma cells are cultured and continue to produce antibodies to the antigen."
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK100189/
Produced as I said - nothing comparable to organ transplants.
Your irrational arguments aside, do you have a legitimate reason why a medical treatment that is available should be rationed? "Because stuff" isn't a legitimate reason.
You make the mistake of me telling you what's what as a statement against vaccination... which could not be further from the truth. This is a statement on how the Government... instead of promoting, producing, and ensuring a viable and proven medical treatment for Covid is arbitrarily reducing its availability.
And you want to say, "well people don't deserve it"? You're one of those that's bought into the "hate your neighbor" narrative because your government has told you to. Sad to see.
Edit: And of course you don't address any of the other "life choice" examples I provided... as you know your argument is ignorant and short-sighted.
Both donor organs and monoclonal antibodies are in high demand and in short supply and as a result, the distribution is controlled. That you cited how the medical treatment is produced is irrelevant, the supply is limited and to ensure fair distribution the federal government is stepping in.
Vaccines reduce infection and they reduce the severity of breakthrough cases. If more people were vaccinated, the availability of monoclonal antibodies wouldn't be an issue. See how cause and effect work?
Your so called life choice arguments were hyperbolic and not relevant to the discussion, so no they were completely disregarded.
Again... if something that can be produced.. is in short supply.. you increase production. The fact they are not, and their first step is to reduce availability... tells you all you need to know.
The life choice arguments are not hyperbolic... it's what you're advocating for leads to. A doctor will treat you only if you meet an administrative "social score", instead of providing medical assistance when needed. Did you think the hate over insurance companies that abused the legalese to deny patients care was a fluke or something? And you want to give that power to the Government? C'mon.. I know you're not that stupid.

This video explains the current capability of people to think logically...
ROFL
More hyperbole. Ensuring a limited supply of a critical medication, treatment or resource is equally avaliable to states is a very far fling from your nonsense slippery slope theory. Furthermore, doctors are the ones in the states receiving the allocation on whom will receive treatment. Unlike your fantasy world, people who walk into a hospital demanding specific treatment are subject to medical justifications.
Yes, supply should be increased and hopefully it will. But until such time as supply increases sufficiently or demand decreases sufficiently, the Feds will make sure equal access occurs.
Yes, if by you mean tens of millions have have healthcare and no one agency or state can horde a specific treatment of resource. Welcome to the 21st Century grandpa, you can out away your leeches. Ma doesn't have to drive to Wisconsin now for her back pills.
Yeah, wtf dude. Do I go around insulting you? I thought this was a discussion :)
How does Seran manage to look like a worse human being each day than he did the day before? It truly is a marvel.
I thought nothing could top him defending people who think unvaccinated people should be denied medical treatment and left to die, but now here he is thinking the federal government should decide who dies and who doesn't.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E96IYPOce0c
Be sure to listen to your elected leaders... they say don't take it... get that Seran? Biden and Kamala said don't take the vaccine... so you better not be taking it.
Swear people are fucking idiots.
Here's some fast equations:
Person A Vaccinated
Person B Unvaccinated
Person A can spread the virus
Person B can spread the virus
Person A is more protected from severe reactions
Person B is not more protected from severe reactions
Person A... should not care what Person B is doing... Person A is more "protected" already.
Person B... should not care what Person A is doing... Person B is making the choice based on their own health choices and will either be okay, or suffer the consequences.
Therefore... Person A and Person B should leave each other the fuck alone.
And as Kamala and Joe said... "why would you take it"? And you wonder why people don't trust politicians.
Edit: Oh.. and BTW.. we're at something like 75%+ vaccinated, or at least one shot already... It seems the majority of Americans are making their own decisions, on top of those with natural immunities. So tell me again why our dipshit politicians are trying to make neighbor hate neighbor? Could it be you don't see BLM, ANTIFA, Trump, blasted all over the news anymore? Could it be the only way one side knows how to hold power is by making people hate each other? You can try to deny it, but eventually you'll wake the fuck up.
Person B has a higher transmission rate, increasing risk to Person A.
Person B is 29 times more likely to require hospitalization, utilizing beds and services Person A may require.
Person B is more likely to develop a mutated virus, with which to make the vaccine of Person A less effective.
Person B is squandering medical resources for an illness largely preventable by a free vaccine.
Person A is sick of Person B arguing their freedom gives them the right to infect others.
Person B is a horrible person.
I'm just curious about these dumb ass arguments of yours, does Person A also get to force Person B to exercise and eat healthier so Person B doesn't "utilize" a hospital bed and "squander" medical resources for developing health conditions that are largely preventable?
In order:
Person A is vaccinated - your point is mute - because you say the vaccine works.
That is on Person B, they are taking the risk. Hospitals use resources for all types of things, and dumb decisions of people. Should a hospital turn away all drug/drinking cases on a weekend night? I mean.. they're taking up resources that person A may require right?
To claim vaccinated vs. unvaccinated is more prone for a mutated virus - I believe hasn't been proven? But historically, you know why viruses mutate? Because we develop vaccines and they mutate to adjust for them. So link some data if you're going to make that claim.
All people squander all types of medical resources for all types of shit... please see my earlier post regarding medical issues people have based upon personal choices... which you tried to brush aside.
Person B is sick of Person A arguing that they should take orders about their personal health from strangers or government administrators. You don't know what an individuals situation is... and claiming you know what's best for them is bullshit.
Person A is fine. Person B is fine. Jackasses like you? Not so much.
I'll say one last time... Listen to your personal physicians and do what is best for your health. Be respectful and cognizant of your surroundings. And otherwise tell people like the above to fuck off.
Did I say that? No. You're literally making shit up like you always do. Someone who smokes /may/ wind up in the hospital, with any number of ailments which are treatable, maybe not curable. But antibiotics, oxygen, even most cancer treatments aren't supply limited
Monoclonal antibodies are very supply limited. As a result of supply being outstripped by demand, the supply is being apportioned to states. Period. Bitch and moan all you want, but it's an incredibly reasonable maneuver.
Oh right, you just defend people who say those people should die and you somehow think it's Group A's business what medical procedures Group B decides they do or do not want because they are taking up a hospital bed and "squandering" medical resources.
Don't act like your shit don't stink. You're just barely stopping short of saying let those people die.
Man.. with this new logic.. Perhaps Colorado and Utah should damn up the Colorado River.. they are having water shortages themselves, and the natural resource is in their land mass. Wonder how that would go over in California... but it does fit this new logic.
https://media4.giphy.com/media/CiYImHHBivpAs/200_d.gif
Let me help you out:
If you're calling me retarded, perhaps you should take a couple biology classes. I've taken a few. Vaccines are not, and have never been 100% effective. They do, in general, prevent a disease but one of the biggest thing is they lessen the severity of the disease.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v12D_9fmOXQ
Well hopefully they don't get treatment when they all get sick right? I mean, they're breaking the rules right? Maybe they shouldn't get that rationed medicine at all right?
Fucking can't believe how dumb some people are to buy the bullshit the politicians are feeding them... when time after time they're exposed for the hypocrites they are... when they're exposed for living their lives to the fullest while they tell you and everyone else to live in fear. It's pathetic to watch people so readily give up their freedoms.

Get that? They want to allow the IRS full access to your bank accounts. So they can track everything you do with your money. And if you think it's about only the "super wealthy", you must not be very smart. They want it for any bank account with over $600. This is more data for them to track you, and apply more pressure.
Full government control. Pay attention.

"Never been tried!"
Except for the hundreds of time it was attempted and ended in utter chaos and millions dead. I'm sure it will work this time though... the Government telling it's people exactly what it can and can't do so utterly, personal choice or freedom is wiped out.
It will work this time!
So much information, access to information, and history available... and yet people are dumber than ever. Amazing.
Also.. think Biden wanting to have free access to your bank account and every individual transaction you do is a random thing? How people are not revolting against this type of intrusion is absolutely astounding. People are so fucking brainwashed.

Something to think about.
Food stores seem to be stocked around me.
Maybe that area's logistic train just sucks.
Agreed... not saying it's widespread yet... more just something to consider.
The logjam of shipping containers is an interesting look into if you're so inclined. One article read that they normally had 1-2 ships on anchor a day as they cycled them through (normal operations), whereas currently something like over 70+/day are anchored waiting offload due to worker shortages/restrictions. How it will play out... who knows... I'm still researching various things on it.
Did you not find it strange that the guy who made the video only recorded the freezers/coolers but not the actual aisles?

No shortages at any Walmarts around here, and we got pwned by a pretty bad hurricane less than a month ago so they were completely cleaned out for a little bit.
No idea if that part of Texas from the video was impacted by Hurricane Nicholas that went through Texas recently, but that's typically how Walmart looks when a hurricane is about to hit too. Or when their coolers(s) break.
Either way, the guy who made the video avoiding all the aisles and only focusing on the coolers is sus.
https://c.tenor.com/u4DTDP287_kAAAAC/sus-suspect.gif
The video has that 4:00 am in the morning feel to it. I certainly hope Walmart empties their coolers for sanitation from time to time.....
I do know I couldn't find canned apricots for like 2 months.
Honestly though, the pastry section looked fully stocked and that's all that really matters.

Is it really a conspiracy theory? Huh.
Yes. When Grandma Rightwing posts a supermarket doing normal cleaning and maintenance claiming the bare shelves are a food shortage, it is. It especially is when she compounds that lie saying other shelves not posted in her video were also bare.
I only said "something to think about" and "Not claiming one way or another... as said, still doing my research on it."
I post some things to refute your "conspiracy theory debunked!" statement... and all you do is go on a rant.
You seriously need to work on your critical thinking skills... I know that partisan hand is up your ass and playing you like a sock-puppet, but don't be that obvious about it.

Huh.. conspiracy theory.
You shared a lie. A woman created a misleading video meant to convey incorrect information and to lead viewers to think things are worse than they are. You don't divulge responsibility for sharing misinformation simply by declaring you haven't made up your mind. Tucker Carlson doesn't get away with it, you sure as shit don't either.
If you share the information, you buy into it. Own that, you needn't lie about being a partisan tin fool hat person.
Nah, this one is legit. The Port Authority has had record berthing requests for the year and simply don't have the physical storage to accept temporary custody of the products pending transportation to its market. Demand is outstripping available space, but this is suppliers stocking up and not mirrored in a massive increase of end user / customer purchases. Well, aside from vehicles and computer components anyways.
This doesn't feed into Grandma Rightwing's misinformation though, because grocery stores get the majority of their products from within our country and not from overseas shoppers. So slow down there with your snark little Jimmy.

I mean...we still have no idea what is going on in the video. You read one random comment from one random person who responded to her video and decided the woman lied and the random comment is telling the truth. You are the literal definition of a sheep.
I really highly doubt Walmart removes ALL of the frozen and refrigerated food when they need to clean/perform maintenance on the systems. That makes absolutely no sense. I use to work for Walmart many years ago and I have never seen anything like that before. Where would they store all of the food while they are cleaning? It would make much more sense to do one cooler at a time so they could just store the food in the freeze storage area.
But there could be something else going on here: maybe all of their cooler units broke so they had to throw all of the food away, maybe the store was cleaned out because the area was hit by a hurricane recently or whatever.
Point is no one has really provided any information on what is going on here, but you read a random YouTube comment and decided that must be the truth. Unreal.
Having experience in the past with this, the only reason a cooler should be empty is it is broken waiting for repair, store remodel or for a very short time (4-8 hours at most) a mod set (where they move things around for fun and shopper confusion). Otherwise, it's because they have nothing to put in it (not likely), got shopped out or someone isn't doing their job and the management shift change store walk hasn't caught them yet.

You'll not find paper products in the freezer section, nor is Costco limiting food products as their is no shortage there. You and Grandma Rightwing spend so much of your energy fabricating lies and conspiracies that I wonder what you could get done if you took of your tin foil hat.
Though I suppose you Republicans who have supported ending the minimum wage and entitlements may one day cause seniors and the poor to eat toilet paper and paper towels to stay alive. Sad.
I can confirm that paper is in short supply. The mills started reducing inventory a couple of years before covid was a thing. This multiplied the shortage when we needlessly shut down the economy.
Before covid, paper demand had been in a steady downfall as we become more digitized. This is why mills basically reduced their inventories to nothing, even the most common paper stock was being produced on demand.

He proposes eliminating tax fraud by spying on pretty much each and every single American and seeing what they are spending their money on and who they are doing business transactions with? I'm sure Jim Bob living in the middle of nowhere and barely making enough money to survive is partly responsible for all of these billions in tax fraud.
That sounds perfectly legit. Seriously how do you fuckers keep defending this shit? Trump sneezed and the media somehow said his sneeze was racist and you were all over that shit like flies, but Biden does actual fucked up shit that even dictators would blush at and all you can do is defend it and call everyone who disagrees a racist, an idiot, a "corrupt business", or telling them they deserve to die. You and everyone who thinks like you are what's wrong with this world today. Don't try and fool yourself that you're "on the right side of history."
It is perfectly legit. If Jim Bob is moving thousands of dollars a year through his bank account while exporting zero or not filing taxes, then such moves will uncover fraud. Meanwhile if Jim Bob is doing nothing illegal, he shouldn't have a problem with the bank being required to report his total deposits and withdrawals every year.
Now if you're a criminal, corrupt businessman or really most Republicans, you'll do your damndest to scream privacy violations to conceal your shenangins. After all, what does a bank submitting an annual dollar amount of transactions have anything to do with the government knowing what they are spending money on?
This tool will allow the IRS to do a far better job screening for fraud, rather than relying on random audits. But then, audits are another Conservativashit boogeyman too.
Six. Hundred. Dollars.
Not "thousands of dollars."
"It's perfectly legit to have the government in a free and democratic society spy on almost every person with a banking account! It's not a sign of a dictatorship in action at all!"
I'm sure you would be totally cool with this if it didn't come from the demented mouth of a Democrat president.
Seran is totally in favor of aggressive stop and frisk tactics. Yet another notch in his "I'm the biggest racist on this forum" belt.
Jim Bob must pay the price for his illegal crawfish operation.
Jim Bob is the worst. I hope they crack down even harder on poor people struggling to survive. If Jim Bob has nothing to worry about then he should be okay with a government official barging his way into his home and going through all of his stuff to make sure he has reported each and every single penny to the IRS.
Hey grandma, I wonder if you understand that folks making under the IRS threshold don't pay taxes and so would naturally be exempt if their 1099-k documents reported by banks were under the standard deduction.
We pay taxes in this country Dreaven and people failing to pay hundreds or billions of dollars a year escape their obligations. To resolve this, the IRS will be given the information needed to properly ensure payment.
Whatever happened to the Fiscal Conservatives that believed in a balanced budget? Surely they'd understand why everyone fairly paying taxes is important to reduce deficits. Because your nonsense and this current brand of irresponsible governance Republicans don't know shit.
If they are "naturally exempt" then why set the threshold to 600 dollars?
Are you just making shit up as you go along or what? This is perhaps the most pathetic thing I've seen yet, this is surpassing your defense of Biden's war crime of droning 7 children to death. At least with the droning you could just say "I'm a racist who doesn't care about brown children being murdered" but you have like no defense at all of this dumb shit.

"FITTON: DOCUMENTS SHOW OBAMA FDA BUYING FETAL HEADS 'FRESH, NEVER FROZEN'"
https://www.yahoo.com/now/conservati...215100944.html
"A January 2013 invoice priced the bodies of unborn babies at $215 for the second trimester and $515 for the first trimester."
https://www.wicker.senate.gov/public...0-0894A476FFF1
"The 2019 restrictions on HFT were instituted because of glaring abuses that came to light. For example, a careful review of an FDA contract with Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR) to procure “fresh human fetal tissue” for transplantation into mice raised serious doubts about whether federal standards were being met, resulting in HHS’s decision to cancel the contract. Further investigations and disclosures led HHS to discontinue intramural research projects that exploited the remains of unborn children and to convene the statutorily-defined Ethics Advisory Board to provide oversight and accountability for extramural HFT projects.
Recently published FOIA documents have brought to light sickening details of the FDA’s dealings with ABR before 2018, in which FDA employees routinely placed orders for eyeballs, livers, skin, brains, skulls, and sometimes fully-intact bodies of infants aborted in the second trimester. According to email and court records, ABR received up to $2,000 for whole infant bodies and was paid $12,000 for a series of shipments of harvested organs that were used to humanize mice in lab experiments. More recently, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) revealed that researchers grafted the scalps of aborted babies onto lab rats as part of research funded by grants from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)."

"Biden administration removes Trump-era restrictions on fetal tissue research" --- "A brief update for outside scientists from the NIH director’s office said the Department of Health and Human Services was reversing a 2019 decision that had required applicants for federal grants and contracts involving fetal tissue to undergo an extra layer of review by an ethics advisory board."
You body, your choice right? Why are they so supportive of people aborting babies again? Why would they get rid of an Ethics board?
This is chess, not checkers.
They're supportive because it was a literal public health crisis when women were forced to get back alley abortions. And because women who do have access to reproductive rights face substantial socioeconomic consequences- as do their children.
The fact that you're actually implying that people are pro-choice for fetal tissue contracts tells me that you know absolutely nothing about the history of reproductive rights nor the societal consequences of not having those rights.
Please educate yourself.
A run on the banks? That's asinine, what basis do you have for this claim? Banks present a secure, often interest bearing means for citizens to store, transfer and utilize their money. That will not change as a result of account balances exceeding a threshold being reported. Some may choose to go bank less to hide fraud, but then some may also choose to go back to horses and buggies to prevent state governments from requiring vehicle registration. That's personal choice.
Yeah, I'm not quite sure why you've posted it beyond trolling opportunities, but here goes.
Medical science has progressed beyond leeches and purging, over hundreds of years our science based medical advancement has involved the usage of dead bodies and tissues to further understanding of human anatomy and to treat / eliminate illness. The tissue resulting from an abortion is no different in terms of science, than an adult cadaver.
The cost associated with storing and transporting necessary materials for scientific advancement have to be met for then to be available. Some people may feel that the tissues following an abortion should be off limits, but I think that's a personal emotion/religious decision and not a legitimate basis for preventing medical science advancement.

Uncontrolled speculation has oil prices up 50% from the beginning of the year and natural gas up over 100%. Per the EIA website, the United States is exporting massive amounts of crude and refined products, the amount of exports of propane are up massively from ten years ago. Meanwhile days of supply in the United States still exceeds the twenty year average.
With inflation scouring Americans pocket books, one can't help but realize how massively the cost of gasoline and petroleum byproducts effects the cost of things. We know according to the EIA that production is at a twenty year high, we know stocks of crude and crude products exceed twenty year averages. All the while global demand is projected to DECREASE next year. And yet US oil producers have intentionally idled oil production, have intentionally idled US refineries.
This folks is pure stock market speculation, resulting in massive profit taking by the oil companies who have idled large amounts of American production. All at the cost to the American people.
Biden has named replacements to the Commodities Futures Trading Commission and has promised to undo the gutting of their budget by Trump. Confirming Biden's CFTC nominees needs to be a priority as soon as Republicans stop trying to cause our nation to default.

Every fucking time. EVERY fucking time gas prices sky rocket under a Democrat people jump on the “oh it’s the speculators that are causing the price increase!”
Anytime gas prices go up during a Republican, even if it’s just a few pennies, the Democrats and media scream about what failures the Republican president is.
Biden has practically declared war on domestic oil producers and is reimplementing many of the costly regulations that Trump rolled back. Stop defending Biden as he literally makes your life and the lives of poor people even worse with his dumb crusade against American companies.
Biden does seem to be screwing us without lube. What do i know though. I do know the pipeline was stopped, i do know gas prices are very high. I do know the Raiders are 3-0
Let's just go through some of the idiot things you've said: Everything.
Precisely what has been rolled back by Biden that made things easier for domestic crude producers? Oil production exploration credits still exist, expert of oil wasn't curtailed, fracking remains largely unregulated (still).
In the meantime, America produces more oil than it consumes and offloads a great deal more of its domestic oil and imports lighter crude for easier refining. Oil producers are swimming in producing oil pads and are enjoying a 100% increase in oil price, so much so they have idled wells to maintain a lean supply. Second, as so many oil producers are also downstream oil refiners, by artificially limiting supply of crude and resulting distillates, they've maintain massive price spikes. The EIA can show you by week just how much idled production there is and just how high the spread is on refining. Not that you've ever pursued data to support your positiins.
This is 100% false. Do you even check your facts? Gas prices during the PResidency of Trump were some of the lowest gas prices, when taking in account inflation, in the human history of gas being sold. It was actually too low, and costing oil field industry workers their jobs.
