I'm disturbed by his lack of understanding of the difference between "or" and "are."
EDIT: And perish/parish. Robert's not happy about it either.

He resigned like, right after that. He said too many people were harassing him and his wife.
Ahh, but they do have control over power regs in their local area like having power spent on lighting buildings downtown and so on. They do have control over disaster preparedness as a city. They do have control over backup systems for city services like water. So yeah, nice distraction but as usual, you failed.
Tim Boyd (first time ever hearing about this guy) is a piece of shit for putting that out. Supposed to be a Mayor? Guy is a jackass.
That being said, sadly the truth is when massive natural disasters hit - you really do only have yourself and your neighbors to rely on. Remember when everyone would laugh at "preppers". Yea, no one's laughing now.
Those officials in Texas need to get their shit together though, and stop playing fuck fuck politics and help the people as best they can. I'll give Biden credit on this one - at least he declared a federal emergency for Texas opening up those resources (his policies still suck though).
That's like the bare minimum he can do. If Texas isn't considered an emergency at the moment then I don't know what is.
Kind of hard to really blame what's going on in Texas on anyone. They haven't seen temperatures like this in decades and in many parts of the state the low temperatures are breaking all time records or records that were set over 100 years ago.
It would be like blaming California politicians because they didn't require every building to withstand a 9.0 quake even though the strongest quake on record in California is 7.9.
That being said Ted Cruz is a dumbass for going on vacation at a time like this. Dude, you're a fucking politician, maybe cancel your vacation plans and stay home when tens of millions of people in your state have no power or heat.
See how easy that is to hold your own party responsible, Democrats?
I get ya, but I'll give credit when credit is deserved. As I said, his other policies are still going to completely fuck over the Nation. He did right in this instance though.
Can't blame natural disasters on anyone, though for some reason politicians try to use it that way. They're all jackasses like that.
Ted Cruz fucked up big time on this one.
The thing I hate is the media trying to turn the narrative that this shows how we need more renewable energy. Literally Texas is without, because of the wind turbines freezing.
I know logic problems are hard for people, but let me present this - renewable energy relies on the environment. Solar and wind specifically. Well if the weather doesn't cooperate - guess how good those mechanisms are for producing energy. Not very good. All the science points to nuclear being the safest and most complete all around energy resource moving forward, but you wouldn't know it from all the hysteria.
People need to get their politics out of issues like this and think logically, if they want their current standards of living to continue. I'm fine going back to the 1800s and living like the settlers did back then. I doubt the majority of US society is though. Caveat: I love my internet, so let's try to keep that going though :) .
Ted Cruz now claiming he and his wife just went to Cancun or wherever to drop off their daughters then they came right back, he was gone for less than 24 hours.
Even if he's telling the truth he should have known how this would look. Surely just his wife could have gone to drop his daughters off if that's all they were doing.
