Turns out George Floyd and Derek Chauvin most definitely did know each other and had previous conflict.

Imagine if they did the kind of background checks for cops that they do for, say, FBI Agents.

Seems kind of odd that someone would keep an employee on the payroll knowing they constantly had conflict with black people. That's just a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Apparently what prompted this shitshow was Floyd said he couldn't get into the police car because he's claustrophobic so clearly the solution is to shove him to the ground and push your knee on his neck for 8 minutes until he stops struggling.

Well that's certainly newsworthy. Glad that info is getting sorted out. The former club owner doesn't seem very reliable as a witness, but the guy sure sounded like one.

I read somewhere, I may be repeating it from here, that the club owner and Chauvin were into some illegal shit and Floyd knew. It was basically a hit gone wrong. The two places that would have the evidence, the club and the precinct, were both burned in the riots. It could be complete bullshit, but it’d be great TV.
