Would you say the same about Ronald Reagan? Jimmy Carter? Bill Clinton?
At this point in their presidency, all of them were at or lower than DT's job approval ratings, and above or the same disapproval ratings. fivethirtyeight.com, great analytical website, you should check it out. Even Obama was only a few points improved to DTs ratings at this point in his presidency (both approval and disapproval).
Pew research has some great data sets on world confidence in US leadership and another on US image. Obama did great in really liberal countries barely moved the needle at all on US image. Trump does not do well on leadership internationally (nor did Bush before him) - they are almost the same in fact. Neither moved the needle much on US image either. So Obama is popular with liberals... I think we knew that.
I did think of his legacy though - he got our credit rating downgraded for the first time ever. I don't blame him solely though, he inherited a financial shit show dating back to budget deficits from 2002. But it did happen under his presidency.
It's funny that all the left folks keep talking about Trump not keeping his campaign promises and failing, however if it wasn't for the crap show that is AOC Pelosi and more he would. Build the wall and I am still waiting for all the people who said they were leaving when Trump was elected to leave. Is Trump the best thing since warm apple pie of course not, is he trying to do a good job, yes i think he is!
