Hey speaking of that. I met a Taiwanese person that became angry when I asked what part of China they are from. I guess this is a touchy subject. Also the word for Misses seems to be culturally offensive outside of Taiwan. I didn't know that. And everyone from Hong Kong knows how to kill and rob you so never ever visit unless you can also kill and rob. I learned some of the language this week too I guess.
This reminds me of the time I went to Japan and made my girlfriend paint her face white and put chopsticks in her hair. I brought my hello kitty backpack. People were offended but I just wanted to fit in with that small section of Chinese people. I even bowed to everyone and made funny sounds like they do. I walked real slow with my hands behind my back. I thought I was polite.Quote:
