The economy is growing, it's fine.

Says it isn't so.
The national debt is a little bit more than the GDP.
Almost half of the debt is money the government owes itself.
Again, it's fine.
There are two things the government can do to get the debt under control: cut spending or grow the economy, well a third I guess would be to do both.
Trump has chosen to grow the economy and so far it's working. It won't be working if someone like Sanders becomes president and fucks over the economy while also growing the deficit.
You are in denial.
Simple math shows Trump, or ANY president who continues to spend like he and Obama have, will bankrupt this country. It's VERY simple math.
Right now, per tax payer, we collectively owe 188K in debt. That doesn't disappear overnight. Even if you count the NON taxpayers, it's fucking 70K a person.
Go pay off your house in a year, that's what it is.
Any of the socialist noms will make it worse, no doubt, but Trump and any other president needs to address it.
And Pelosi chewing on her dentures is funny.
Pelosi really would like to be anywhere but there
If the economy doesn't keep growing then you are correct, but as the economy is doing great then it's fine. Debt under 100% GDP is considered good, we are a little over that amount at the moment.
We aren't Japan with debt almost 2.5 times what their GDP is.
Think of it like this: would you get more benefit from paying off your loan which is at a 1.5% interest rate, or would you get more benefit from investing that money in the stock market and increasing your return by more than 1.5% in a year? Clearly the answer is the latter.
It's the same with the economy and debt: would we be better off paying our debt which is currently at a 1.5% rate or investing that money into our economy and growing the economy at an even higher rate?
The problem with Obama was he wanted to borrow, borrow, borrow, while our economy barely chugged along, Trump is growing the economy at a faster rate than we are increasing spending.
It's only going to be a problem once the momentum of our economy slows, which is almost assuredly to happen once a Democrat gets back into office.
You have to give Trump credit. He's really good at floating a topic in front of the Democrats, that any normal American would support, while Democrats sit there with frowns on their faces.
Granted, the up and down applause is a normal thing, Trump is just really good at using the reactions against them.
Trump: We are giving this little girl the funding to attend a good school.
Democrats: We are going to sit here and frown about a little girl having access to a solid education.
The public eye: WTF?
Oh snap, Nancy tearing up that speech.
That's what it looks like when you know you have lost the ballgame.
