You guys are aware that Percocet is oxycodone just with Tylenol added to limit abuse potential, right?

A lot of these drugs are very closely related in terms of chemical composition.

Vicodin is actually hydrocodone + acetaminophen. Percocet is oxycodone + acetaminophen. Closely related, but they have different side effects for different people. For example, I think percocet can often have itching as a common reaction, whereas vicodin doesn't have that same side effect.

Percocet actually is oxycodone. Do you mean oxycontin or something? Every time my doctor has given me a prescription saying Percocet, the pharmacy has given me a bottle saying oxycodone.

Well technically oxycodone and oxycontin are the same thing. The only difference being time of release. Oxycontin release faster.

Percocet is oxycodone with Tylenol added. Not similar. It's the same thing. Percodan is straight oxycodone.

Oxycontin is name brand timed release oxycodone. I think like over 12 or 24 hours or something. Roxicodone, what I took, was just name brand immediate release oxycodone.

In addition to what other people said, I just realized when you asked that that I had an undiagnosed anxiety disorder at the time, and painkillers will relax the shit out of you. When you think of how many Americans are running around with untreated or undertreated mental health issues, there can be no doubt it really exacerbates the situation.

When I had some surgical procedure I can't remember now, my vasovagal reaction was kicking in from the IV so they gave me something to relax and I can still remember the kind of frazzle that went through my visual field, and it was so positive that when I semi woke up it was imperative to find the nurse with cute sneakers and thank her.

Reason #47651 why there cannot possibly be a God: the incredibly positive feelings of drug use coupled with the horrific consequences of drug addiction.

Do you use the razor blade kind or the plastic kind??? I use the razor kind because I'm hard like that.

I also had dramatically different reactions to vicodin and percocet, so suck on that Showal. Nerd. :heart:

Yup. Like I said, percocet will make me itch like mad but not vicodin.

Vics are hydrocodone. Similar but not the same.
