How do you think those countries were able to bounce back so quickly after WW2? American dollars and support... I'm pretty sure America did enough... while a lot of those countries didn't pay for their own defense...they used the money for extreme social welfare programs and were living comfortable knowing "big brother" would bail them out, at least until Trump came along.
