Problem was: Russian civilians fought too.

The Soviet Army was over 6 million men strong when Nazi Germany invaded. They just had a really shit poor supply line and weak leadership because Stalin purged the fuck out of thew senior officer corps.

Sanctions is just a foolish way of getting back at a country. Oh noes, billions in financial woes. Yeah meanwhile, oh hey look... A country whose resources I can either profit from or use for my own.

Sanctions don't stop an apartment building from being hit by a missile, or 13 bros on an island from getting rekt.
