Democrats could have fixed it many times. Why do Democrats continue to use immigration as a wedge voter issue instead of solving the problem?

Don’t worry Seran. Your favorite state, Texas, is taking action to solve the border problem. We appreciate your full support.
Supreme Court already shot down Texas whose working on open rebellion. I suppose Gov Abbott should be pissed at Trump and conservative Republicans blocking immigration reform legislation. Interesting how Trump has said the quiet part outloud in admitting wanting to stop legislation from passing so he can campaign on the issue.
Yeah, Texas is not backing down.
Oh you mean the immigration bill that Republicans have been wanting for years, and Democrats will only consider now if it includes additional billions of aid money to Ukraine? You mean a bill that would change asylum status for illegals which Biden had promised to protect (until just recently he now decides to do a complete 180 policy reversal)? So after 4 years of terrible policy and a complete lack of executive action to enforce our existing laws, it’s Republicans fault for not getting on board with legislation. Got it.
It's cute that you've conveniently forgotten all prior attempts at immigration reform. Or think that Texas being in opening rebellion is a casual matter. Immigration law is static, despite what Republicans try to claim.

I suppose it’s a good thing that the plate carrier that was on back order I purchased on Cyber Monday finally came this week.
