While I agree with this statement, if a significant percentage of the affected group actually does believe the name is offensive (I don't know how to define "significant" here), then the name should change.

I find myself unconvinced that this is actually the case. I might very well be wrong, however I find it more likely that a bunch of liberals have just found something else to complain about.

The NCAI stands behind it, and they claim to represent more than 250 member tribal government and thousand of individual members. Do you have anything besides how you feel to back your claim?

If the owner was any sort of troll master he would hold a huge press conference saying he was going to change the name from Redskins and unveil the new team name; The Angry Injuns.
