What Are You Wearing?

My monk is roughly where I want her in terms of appearance. I just wish it were easier to point out the contrast between her extremely pale features and her extremely dark clothing. Oh, well.

You see Kisako Taikana the Wandering Mystic.
She appears to be an Erithian.
She is tall. She has slit-pupilled vivid alabaster eyes and pallid skin. She has waist length, snowfall white hair with the top layer twisted into an elaborate half-knot secured by a pair of rough ironwood hairsticks sinuously wrapped with dark jet serpents. She has slightly pointed ears.
Her face is concealed by a swathe of midnight black silk.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a labyrinthine mithglin wire choker, a full-sleeved lustrous jet silk robe smoothly falling in myriad intricate folds, a knee-length ashen chainsil tunic shadowed in deeper charcoal hues, a set of soft ebon cambric handwraps trailing several inches from wrist-tied knots, a thrice-wrapped obsidian silk vatanura, an elliptical raven suede gem pouch trailing a knotwork hematite dragon ouroboros, some slim-cut black linen pants, and twin windings of sable linen footwraps cross-strapped up to the knee.

Hairsticks are a set of splitting sai from this past EG. The robe is a fully unlocked climatewear cloak by Wyrom using a 'thrice-wrapped vatanura' as a fastener. The tunic is 6x masterful crit padded robe armor, while the handwraps and footwraps are 4x with disintegrate flares and banditbane. She also has another set of handwraps and footwraps with identical descriptions, both 4x but the handwraps have blessing flares with web and disintegrate while the footwraps are simply blessable.

She is taller than average and appears to be youthful. She has silver-filmed pastel blue eyes and milky white skin. She has very long, lustrous argent hair neatly collected within a vaalin-beaded grey satin snood. She has a plain and narrow face, a thin, sharply pointed nose and very long, tapering ears that culminate in severe points. Her neck is exceedingly spindly and of a delicacy that contributes to her overall gaunt, and wan, appearance. A dahlia-etched jet stone is affixed to the center of her forehead.

She is wearing a pair of darkly tinted spectacles, a smoky grey silk velvet shrug, an ashen bourde corset banded with vertical stygian stripes over a flaring black taffeta gown with a glossy black raven-feathered underskirt, a black vaalin ring cradled in white eahnor, and some ebon slippers secured with a trio of petite jet buttons.

She has a heart-shaped face and high cheekbones. She has glossy dark claret lacquer brushed onto her sleekly ovate fingernails. She has a pair of jade-veined elongated emerald wings.
She has a knotwork and dragonfly tattoo on her neck.

She is wearing a glossy lapis shard lavaliere suspending a silver-clasped tassel of seed pearls, an indigo spidersilk cloak with a lapis-inset silver clasp, a narrow sapphire-beaded corset laced with pearl-edged ribbons, an emerald-set gold wedding ring, a velvet belt pouch, an embroidered black silk wrap-skirt, and some sparkling crystal-heeled slippers.

Stylized dragonflies are inked in shades of blue and green, the hues varying in intensity along the length of each insect. Small deep green circles of intricate knotwork connect the dragonflies to form the appearance of a chain around the neck. The outline of a stag's head is inked in dark gold at the back of the neck, nestled between two dragonflies.

A large marquis-cut emerald sits centered in display, flanked by four smaller matched stones of similar color and cut, the whole of the arrangement suggesting a stylized dragonfly. It perches atop a band of fiery reddish gold, engraved about its span with a subtle pattern of sinuous wisps.

A thick, twisting dark green vine lines the edges of the calf-length skirt. Bright cobalt and pomegranate hued flowers stitched in great detail seem to explode from the vine, contrasting starkly with the black silk. Silver dragonflies weave their way along the skirt's ties, their wings highlighted with delicate pale green and blue threads.

She appears to be an Elf.
She is average height and appears to be an adult. She has slanting, mismatched grey and black eyes and intensely pale skin. She has long, glass-smooth deep scarlet hair parted to one side with a single wide lock brushed across her left eye and bound in place with an oval alum filigree barrette backed in dark green kelyn. She has a refined collection of quintessentially Elven features, from the sharply defined cheekbones and patrician nose to the delicate outline of her jaw.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a tiny diamond mosaic otter pendant, a long black velvet jacket open-laced across the midriff with ribbons, a heart-shaped emerald suede corset, a coraesine ring-of-flames solitude band, a pair of wide-legged black linen pants with crisp creases, and some sleek ebon leather shoes lofted on thin spike heels.

Pendant:
The small charm is suspended on a short, thin silver chain, just long enough to rest the charm at the base of the wearer's throat. Glittering chips of diamond sit within a framework of silver in the shape of a sleek, shining river otter. Black diamonds mark the mischievous critter's eyes, one round and open all the way and the other closed in a wink, delineated by a thin sliver.

Corset:
Soft, jewel-tone green suede conceals rigid boning, providing the corset with firm structure. The double arched neckline of the corset resembles the top of a heart, the image furthered by paneling and darts that come down to a point at the hem.

He is tall, with a hulking stature. He has mismatched lupine blue eyes and waxy sallow skin. He has long, bone white hair braided in the back forming a complexly woven knot resembling a vertebrae. He has a thick neck.
His face is concealed by a sinuous abyss black face-wrap.
He has a tattoo of four skeletal horsemen on his neck.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a triad of thin silver chains suspending an eburnean bird of prey, a vaalorian shadowsilk cloak, a multi-scaled dragon-winged vest, a singed scaled travel pack, some laced onyx leather arm greaves incised with pentacles, a dark silk square-paneled loincloth, some ebon leather leg greaves with blackened vultite scales, and some plated talon-tipped boots.

Delicate swathes of the finest black silk are carefully layered to create a single length of opaque material. Thin bands of spun silver edge each layer, adding both structure and a hint of embellishment to the face-wrap.

Lengths of fine shadowsilk have been tailored into this small yet sturdy garment. Both long and wide, the hood appears deep enough to eclipse the wearer's face when worn. Almost hidden against the dark fabric, is a row of black vaalorn buttons, flowing seamlessly down the garment and stopping just above the hem. A miniature dagger, composed of an eahnor handle and faenor blade, serves as a clasp.

The voluminous vest is tightly woven from shadow-hued strands of pure spidersilk suitable for a Dark knight. A protective sheath of overlapping veil iron, vaalin, and vaalorn scales covers the entire surface of the vest, scorched with an image of a dragon. Extending outward from the back of the vest is a pair of large black leather wings. Outstretched in two graceful arcs, the wings have been painstakingly worked to resemble a legendary dragon's in every detail.

You glance at your scaled travel pack. The pack is large and voluminous, crafted of well-worn black leather. Wear, weather and caustic conditions have blackened the hide into a dark patina. Small rolaren scales stud the large flap, which is clasped with a small emerald-eyed dragon cast of black rolaren to match the scales. The carved drake is shown with wings outstretched, their tips extending across the travel pack in two graceful arcs. Its detail is astonishing, with its lithe body draped over the satchel in a sinuous curve. Perched on top of the scaled travel pack is constructed from what appears to be a mix and match of broken bones is a miniature skeleton. The bones are drilled through and threaded with brass wire with an oversized ivory skull. Clasped within the bony arms is a tiny veil iron skeleton key.

A pool of soft cloth serves to protect and conceal the wearer's waist and lower torso. Two long silken midnight-shaded rectangular panels drape over a thick black belt. The symbol of the Ne'Yuscarl has been woven into the bottom-center of each panel with muted silver thread.

This always makes me curious, since you're a half-krolvin. One of these days I'm going to bug you about the story behind it. =)

I found this skirt in a locker and I felt like designing something around it... nothing too fancy.

She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She is tall and appears to be in the bloom of youth. She has oblique malachite-flecked chestnut eyes and gardenia white skin. She has long, fine mournbloom black hair parted to the side and pinned back with a jet-on-cream damask fascinator adorned with a spray of rose ostrich feather. Though her features are predominantly Sylvan, subtleties in the shape of her face and the tilt of her eyes appear faintly Erithian. She has faintly gold-sheened claret lacquer brushed onto her manicured fingernails.
She has a trio of carved ivory hoops set along the slender tips of her pointed ears, and a tiny blue water drop tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a bronze-sheened claret dupioni silk shrug with a lightly ruffled collar, an ecru-striped taffeta cravat, a cap-sleeved cream linen blouse bound with an iron-clasped charcoal suede waist-cincher, a pair of dark leather knuckle gloves, a high-waisted dark silk skirt buttoned down a single column, and a pair of strapped garnet silk high-heeled shoes.

Gloves: Supple, dark chocolate leather has been fashioned to fit over the knuckles and upper half of the palm, exposing a teasing glimpse of skin. Bands of copper, overlaid with a thin latticework of leather scraps, accent each fingerless glove between the first and second knuckle.

She appears to be an Elf.
She is taller than average with a slender willowy form and appears to be youthful. She has silver-lashed misty grey eyes and silky smooth, fair skin. She has lustrous, hip-length silver blonde hair caught in a casual roll at the nape of her neck by some twisted silver hairpins. She has naturally glossy, rose-pink tinted lips. Peeking through her hair are dainty upswept ears tapering to fine points which enhance her fey-like countenance.
She has an inking of a faint star constellation on her neck, and a cascade of tiny silver stars tattooed over her right eyebrow that fades into her hairline.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a knitted ivory and deep purple hat, a tufted pale grey rabbit fur mantle backed in charcoal satin, a deep purple spiky milk thistle, a slightly-bustled ebon tartan overdress with a distinctive purple and cream sett over a collared ivory cotton cotehardie bound with a slender silver-linked belt, a platinum wedding ring, and some narrow-cuffed charcoal silk shoes with pointed toes.

She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She is petite in stature and appears to have come of age. She has jet-limned vivid azure eyes and pure, porcelain white skin. She has closely-shorn, dark mulberry hair with thick glossed curls escaping from under a rounded white mink fur hat. She has a high-cheekboned, yet subtly rounded face, an upturned nose and faintly bowed natural-toned lips. The strong hourglass curvature of her waistline betrays her otherwise lithe, sylvan frame. An oval-cut white starstone with night blue accents is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling bluish white sheen across her face.
She is in good shape.
She wearing a downy neck cowl of ashen peacock feathers, a snug-fitting zaffre cotton waistcoat terminating in a fanned peplum over a long-sleeved arsenic satin blouse with heavily starched cuffs, some opaque grey silk hosiery bound in a series of leather cords, and some wool-bound sky blue suede knee-boots pinned with hematite pyramid studs.

These tall pallid blue suede knee-boots are fitted with a soft inner lining which extend beyond the shafts to create a thigh-high gathering of charcoal grey crocheted wool. Along the ankles are opposing columns of three hematite pyramid studs which allow the woolen cuffs to be pinned down, concealing the smooth suede uppers and leaving only the rounded toes and the vaulted walnut heels visible. A fine-linked platinum chain ending in a flourished 'L' charm dangles freely from the bottom of both outer lines of fasteners.
