Well, he and I have been as close as brothers for a long time. We've been in each others lives longer than we haven't. We've worked at the same place a few times, and lived together a few times. He is family to me, but if I say "My brother" you assume my natural sibling. If I say "friend", I don't feel that encompasses the relationship. Silent Bob is Jay's hetero-lifemate, and Jon is mine, hah.

The first fact cited is in the front of my mind when I visit family in upstate New York, trust me. I could have checked the grocer's there. I should have checked the grocer's there.
